This is a replica of the Aimpoint ML2 optic sight, used by various forces around the world.
Stats:
Off, 5 brightness settings
35mm lens
20mm mount
takes 2 LR44 button cells.
My previous red dot was a classic Army Reflex sight. I wasn't too impressed with it, it seemed a little weak, and no way of zeroing it. Zeroing the Aimpoint is like zeroing any other scope, simply remove the covers and adjust a dial.
The flip up lens covers are very good, they are flexable, and are certainly tough enough to withstand a bb at any range. It is possible to get a killflash, which puts a mesh "mask" over the lens, if you are playing cqb or similar.
The batterys last a long time, 5 days skirmishing, then I left it on over a day (dough!) then they died. The box comes with 2 spares, as the aimpoint takes 2 batterys.
This is a very good optic for the price, I would recommend it to anyone. I rated it 8, as the Gaurder version is better, and the real thing is 10, therefore excellent. Great purcahse.

The dot is nicely controlled at 4MOA (it won't coverup your target). The construction is nice and full metal. The battery covers (it has them, unlike TM version) are real rubber. The build quality is absoloutley beautiful! It's easy to use, has a very det

The flip up lenses don't fly open, but that's no biggy, and all your friends will want one after you get it.

I have an UTG (Leapers) red dot scope. I thought that was good until I got this scope.
The Leapers has an un-confined dot, and it has red and green. The G&P optic may only have red, but it is a nicley confined red dot (4MOA) and has very good variation in brightness between settings.
The Brightnesses on the Leapers optic are very much similiar to eachother (1 through 5), they are all bright and cover up your target. The G&P ML-2 is niceley confined and prevents blindness of your target.
The scope is nice and durable. It is all metal and has high quality build materials.
The flip up lens cover springs are weak. That's not a big deal because IT IS NOT hard to push them into a nice ergonomic position.
The scope looks beautiful! It is VERY detailed and is easy to use.
The only problem here is a minor one that is not big deal. The scope looks GREAT on an M4 ontop of a carrying handle rail riser, (my M4 is an Olympic Arms MIL-4 that's costomized) with the stock all the way out (the only way to use it).
The scope is a little shorter than the carrying handle on a OA (Olympic Arms) MIL-4 M4.
I reccomend this scope to anyone who wants a good reliable, beautiful, affordable, accurate, and ergonomic. I got mine for $49.00 USD (United States Dollars).
My regards to Aimpoint, and G&P... (and the Special Forces who use them)... They have my honor.
