Below is a review I originally posted here a few years ago and many airsoft purchases ago.
Original Review
-------------------------------------------------
Den Trinity
Location: Hong Kong
I have purchased 2 Airsoft guns from Den Trinity and many accessories:
CL Custom Neo G3 Shorty
Based on a Marui MC51 but with a full stock modified to accept a 9.6 battery. (Although it says CL, meaning their ex airsoft gunsmith, Clarence Lai, he has parted ways from Den for some time now.)
Den Trinity installed a 400fps Spring and Gearbox upgrade as well. I added a G&G R.I.S. Foregrip, G&G Tactical Flashlight, a few High cap mags, Guarder Scope Mount and Gaurder 3 Point Sling. Later I added a 42mm Simmons Red Dot Scope, Flip top scope covers and Bushmaster R.I.S. Rail covers I purchased locally to finish this setup. This rig was inspired by a custom gun built by a local Airsoft Reatiler, Airsoft Extreme but mine is the "budget" version since I cold piece the parts I really wanted and omit some of the pricier ones. Form the time I sent them funds via Paypal this rig arrived at my door in 7 working days. Very efficient service!
The performance of this rig is awesome. It cuts soda cans in half and is VERY accurate.
Marui AK47 Beita Spetnaz
Then I wanted to get a good CQB medium range weapon and thought of an MP5 based rig, but decided on the AK Beita Spetnaz for the reliability and accuracy of the stock gearbox. I have kept the internals stock and added a JUST Scope mount, Spetnaz Sling, Scorpion Tac Light and Walther Red Dot Scope. Since this was a stock setup, it only took about 3 working days to receive this rig.
This weapons performance is wonderful and reliable.
Last year (2002) I had the good fortune to visit Hong Kong and paid Den Trinity a visit for me last year. Even though I feel the prices on the website are reasonable, I was able to haggle the prices on the list of accessories I sent with him which include a P90 Silencer, Tac Vest a few drop leg holsters batteries and bb's. Probably due to the fact I paid in Hong Kong Dollars. Their shop is small by U.S. standards, but full of products. They build many custom parts (i.e. AK47 metal bodies, reinforced gear boxes, etc.) and seem to be the first Airsoft shop to get new high profile items from Japan. Den's prices are inline with other Hong Kong retailers, but I did notice their shipping prices always tend to be higher (Sometimes by $10.00 to $20.00).
Their email replies are prompt and to the point and both pre and post service communication are good.
This is the place to go if you know what you want before hand. They offer a few beginners packages, but they only seem to be on the newer offering from Marui.

Unfortunately, I've only had opportunity to visit their retail shop (keke). So I don't know how their online shop runs.
It's a very good shop from my standard. They've got the most unusual stock. Some really weird revolvers, and parts that you might not be able to find anywhere else. They're also well stocked on sheriff pistol parts which give me goosebumps everytime I go in. I just love those steel stuff.
Here's something NOT to do with den. Don't ask them if the WE Hi-Capa magwell will fit the WA's. Don't ask them if the pretty silver KSC sti grip screw will fit the WA, don't ask them if you can fit an SCW2 slide on a SCW1 gun. They're give you the same answer: "we don't know we haven't tried."
Basically if you ask them something unconventional, they will try to avoid answering it. I know he knows. Come on, anyone who tweak guns for long enough should know how you can save cash by getting your WA replacement parts from a KJW, it works!
They are however very courteous, and very efficient. They don't mind bringing you 5 copies of the same gun for inspection when purchasing and they'll also teach you how to fire a gun on your first purchase. They also avoid scratching your new gun with the bling bling ring a sales was wearing. I saw my sales person stick that finger away from my gun purposely, which made me smile.
And the above 2 points are what set them apart from my fav. store - UN Co. which I will give a review if anyone put up a online review (which is more appropiate to an UK site).
The bad? The air conditioning is too damn cold it's freezing! So bring your scarf guys and we go shopping and have some stir-fried instant noodles next door when you get here!

Due to a deal on Classic Army AEGs, I ordered a CA M15A4 and a WE Hi-Capa on Friday night and the package arrived at my office in the UK on Wednesday.
All the bits were there and in good condition apart from a chipped flash hider on the M15 - looks like a manufacturing fault and not really noticeable.
Very happy with the purchase and speed. Saved £50 over UK prices even accounting for customs, VAT and Parcelforce's admin fee.

I purchased a TM p90 TR package (with hicap and battery). The order went through pretty smoothly. Shipping was free because I bought a TM AEG package, and the promotion was free shipping.
I purchased the item on a monday night (technically a tuesday), and the item showed up on my doorstep that friday!! I was VERY impressed by the shipping time.
Unfortunately, a few weeks later, I was hit with a $15 or so customs fee. Not too bad considering the shipping time. oh well. I'd still recommend this vendor. Good prices and super fast shipping.

EDIT: Admin note - you are obliged to pay all customs fees; a retailer can't be held liable for your debts legally incurred for your purchases and imports.

I have purchased a CA M15A4 SPC during one of their sale and it came after a week here in the UK.
Placed the battery, loaded the mag and then... nothing! The gun was working but was not spitting any bb's. The magazine was not working properly. It constantly unwinds by itself or jams every time.
I wrote them just to vent out my frustration because I know they will not help me anyway. Told them that they need to check the magazines as well when testing their AEG's but got no reply.
All I wanted to say is that if you are willing to take the risk of buying outside the UK without any warranty to save money then go ahead. You may end up having a great buy or a piece of s**t! I thought Dentrinity was a good company and took that risk, but I was wrong.

I have used Den on two separate occasions. The first was for an SD slide and a few small accessories for a hi capa back when i owned one, the 2nd time for a specific sear.
They have reasonable prices, a good range of stock and some unusual bits and bobs not available elsewhere, which is a plus point.
The website is also well organised, and the search feature is handy when you are looking for specific items for a particular gun or from a single manufacturer.
They also accept paypal, and are happy to ship by a service you request if you ask (Use EMS Speedpost, they are by far the most reliable).
Both orders arrived within 4/5 days, well packaged and in perfect condition.
If you are looking for unusual parts or your usual ports of call dont have what you need, give them a try!

I had ordered one of the new heavyweight Marushin P210s and a new SD slide for my P99 Compact along with some sundry parts about two weeks ago.
Anyway, after paying via Paypal I received an tracking number from Den who claimed the order had been shipped.
However this number doesnt work!
I have been on to Den at least 4 or 5 times, each time explaining the situation but I am still waiting for any response 10 days later.
The parcel has not arrived now and typically it only takes a week or so to get here.
without a tracking number I can't even check An Posts own tracking service or the Customs/Revenue to see if it has arrived in Ireland yet.
Annoyingly they seem to respond to my orders or quote requests alright buy go silent when I ask about the parcel supposedly sent on 5th May.
Have I been diddled out of $300???

I had a disappointing experience with Dentrinity recently.
What happened was I bought a new battery for my Tokyo Marui Glock 18C AEP, it was $180 HKD and the reason why I got it was because the sales person told me the new charger will only charge the new-er type of batteries; which I also bought along with the battery.
Turns out, he was dead wrong. My new charger could easily charge up the older version 7.2V batteries. So without opening the new battery, I went back to the shop and asked if I could swap the unopened (I must stress UNOPENED, COMPLETELY NEW WITH ORIGINAL PACKAGING + RECEIPT) battery with a 18C rail attachment (costs exactly the same, $180) and add an additional $200 to get the suppressor.
As "expected", Dentrinity has an extremely strict no refund/exchange policy. Even if you offer to get additional products on top of your exchange, you will get a very blunt 'no'. I personally think that is a real shame because it will deter some people (or maybe just me?) from their shop; the staff had a really negative attitude when I kindly asked if I could swap and went on to lecture me about thinking before buying and they DID NOT CARE if I were to buy all of their products on top of the exchange. (I am not exaggerating, they said that.)
So, I was rather hurt this time round. And believe me, Dentrinity was a great shop, went there multiple times before to upgrade/downgrade my gear. Pricing was always on the high side but quality is guaranteed. But I guess the "best" still have their imperfections.
It is clearly a general "rule" that goods that go out the door cannot be refunded/exchanged and I 100% accept it was my mistake. However, should a shop be so rigid towards its' customers? Are company policies so dead-set that leeway is totally impossible? Dentrinity could have made me a very happy customer but unfortunately: they did not.
