I ordered this to go onto my Sig P226. The real deal will cost you about $100 depending on where you get it. I just wanted a plain black M3 and King Arms' offering seemed to look promising. The light comes in a neat foam-lilled box with 2 x CR123A batteries, so you are good to go as soon as the batteries are put in! The light is tough and robust and it looks like will stand up to a good deal of abuse. The battery housing/body is a nice coarse matte black plastic, whereas the bulb/mirror assembly is metal, probably anodised aluminium. The lens is plastic I think but is flat and very clear. There are no markings or trades apart from the battery position indicators which are small. No silly looking text like the real Streamlight (look at the real one and tell me it doesnt look like a stupid toy). Operation is via the little ambidextrous rotating switch that you operate with your trigger finger. It is easy to find and use, and provides two modes, up for momentary illumination and down for constant (opposite ways for lefties like me!). The light is suprisingly bright and at close range it WILL dazzle you so it fulfills its secondary purpose which is to disorientate the target, at CQB distances at least. The only negative things I can say is that there are rather crude seam lines along some edges, especially the rail interface. Also the leaf spring that pushes the securing bar (the bit that goes into the "sideways" slots in the rail) is pretty stiff so pushing this light onto the rail is tough. But having said that a bit of trimming with a scalpel and some use should make this easier. In any event the seams are not really visible unless you look closely. The light doesnt scratch or mark the gun which is a relief! Overall this M3 copy is a good robust piece of kit that works well and for $60 (half the price of a real M3 and cheaper than most other "replicas") it is well worth the money.

There's not much to add to the above review, but since the above is completely void of pictures, so this will be mostly a pictorial review.

When mounted on the M4 rail, the light can move back and forth a bit, but not really affect functionality.
The following are some comparison of this M3 replica and the Surefire G2. The M3 is really not much worse than the G2 (just a little bit.)
The distance of the lights to the wall is about 1m and 2m, respectively.
Lastly, here's a picture of a real M3

Cheap, bright, tape switch available.

Cons:

Light quality isn't equal to more expensive units - hardly a weakness at all.

These would be a 10, but I had one fail on me.
After a couple weeks in a gun case, I found that the batteries in my first KA M3 had leaked, reacting with the foam of the case and ruining much of its contents.
I don't know if the fault lies with the batteries or the light unit itself. I managed to clean and restore much of the light, but the brightness/clarity was never the same.
I just recieved my second unit, in FDE, and its much like the first. Bright, cheap, great light.
