Introduction:
I am by no means a geardo, but I still need a vest or chest rig to carry my equipment in the field. Those modular vests and plate carriers sure look good in photos, and the ability to be able to re-configure the pouches is certainly a plus for real operatives carrying out different types of missions. However, I'm poor and not and that hardcore about gears, so when I saw the Infinity Tactical's (iTS) replica of what appears to be the Blackhawk S.T.R.I.K.E. GEN 4 MOLLE Modular Assault Systems Commando Recon Chest Harness for only $39 (USD), I've got to get one.
Looks:
The vest arrived three days after I ordered it from Jungletoys (US) with free shipping. They only had either desert or black in color, so I chose the black one to go with either my woodland loadout or CQB. Opening the package, my first impression was pretty good. The package includes the chest harness and three mag pouches, one radio pouch, and one utility pouch. The material used seems to be fairly durable, and it should hold up in airsoft skirmishes without problem though I have yet to wear it into battle.
Upon closer examination: the pouches that came with the rig are not modular, but fixed. This is not really a big problem for me since I would have configured my pouches this way had they been modular, but for the true geardos, this is a no-no. A bib folds nicely in and out behind the mag pouches, and the bib has loops that take real modular attachments.

After the bib is folded out, the pocket has velcro seal, and pen holder inside.
<img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/shao14/IT%20Vest/ITvest7.jpg" alt="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/shao14/IT%20Vest/ITvest7.jpg" class="bb-image" />
I don't know if the dimensions are correct, but they look right, 4 loops in each of the three rows just like the Blackhawk Commando Recon Harness. The bib can be secured onto the shoulder straps with a couple buttons.
The pouches all have velcro cover. The mag pouch carries 2 M4 mags each. They were pretty tight, so no worries the mag falling out if one removes the cover. I don't have a radio, but I can put my M9 in the radio pouch just right.
<img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/shao14/IT%20Vest/ITvest5.jpg" alt="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/shao14/IT%20Vest/ITvest5.jpg" class="bb-image" />
The utility pouch is quite large, and can take 4 M4 mags in it with more room to spare, so one can take spare batteries, BBs, MREs, or other accessories in it.
<img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/shao14/IT%20Vest/itvest6.jpg" alt="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/shao14/IT%20Vest/itvest6.jpg" class="bb-image" />
The inside of the harness is pretty simple, nowhere to store a bullet proof plate as would the Blackhawk counterpart.

Feels:
The shoulder and waist strap are all fully adjustable, and all the buckles look good quality too. I think this rig can fit most people's height. The shoulder straps are padded, and pretty comfortable. With the lengths of the straps adjusted properly, it hugs my torso fairly comfortably. Though I haven't skirmished with it, I don't see any immediate problems with it. If something goes wrong, iTS offers limited lifetime warranty to cover defective items.
In conclusion:
I like this semi-modular replica of the Blackhawk harness. At $39, one can't even buy the Blackhawk modular mag pouches. The iTS chest rig looks the part, and I expect it to hold up in normal wear, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a light modular look with a tight budget.
For comparison, here's a picture of a Blackhawk Commando Recon chest harness
