Positive aspects of the product (pros): faster and more reliable than those stupid tubes
Cons: a little bigger than i would have prefered

This is a great device that is used to automatically load low and mid cap magazines. It is about 20% larger than 2 M4 mags, probably closer to 3. It uses 4 AAA sized batteries, which go under a small cover in the side of the device. In the top of the loader is a small flap that is used to access the bb reservoir which holds between 300-400 bbs. On the top of the unit is a white nipple that can be fitted with one of the adaptors which come with the loader. The adaptors will fit basically every type of mag out there and are fastend to the nipple using a tiny hex nut (hex wrench comes with the loader). Although this is good as it will not fall off it does make it hard to load pistol mags which use a different adaptor - you need to get out your hex wrench and change the adaptor which is a pain. When you want to load a mag up you turn the mag upside-down and fit it to the adaptor and press down on the nipple. The motor inside starts up and you can hear the bbs feeding into the mag. The speed is not that fast but sure as hell faster than using those tube things or a push button loader. It takes 20 or so seconds to load a 90 rnd mag. When the mag is full it will push itself away from the nipple and the bbs will stop flowing.

This thing is built quite well too, I haven’t personally taken it into the field as I have enough mags to last several games, however I wouldn’t hesitate to take it with me if I thought I needed it, the loader is quite robust! In terms of the batteries, I wouldn’t know, I just used some cheapos and they haven’t needed replacing yet. I have now loaded a few mags and the loader is still going hard with no jams or nothing.

I got one of these things cause I like to use mid caps (they are cheap and reliable and don’t rattle) and have 12 or so in a vest plus a couple of pistol mags (a lot of mags when you have to use that tube thing). For those of you out there who also play with mid caps or even low caps it’s a must!

i give this 8/10 it looses a point for size and another for the nipple change over.
