Stay away from Precision Airsoft!!!! They suck ass! I sent my AUG SR for an FPS upgrade ( I can't mention the power of it) and a new hop-up. Also the gun was in excellent stock conditions, i.e no broken parts.
Part 1-The long wait
The first tell-tail sign was when I sent my gun to them for the upgrade. I kept asking when they would install the hop-up and the progress of the upgrades. Not in a annoying fashion, but I'd just like to be informed of my gun's progress. Then a month passed, the work was still not done. Finally they sent it back in the mail......
Part 2-"I never want to do business with you again".
Upon getting the gun back in the mail there were some immediate problems.
1. The cocking handle was broken.
2. The Magazines didn't even fit!!
So I called them up, and asked for Kevin (He was responisble for the work, and was the e-mail person)
So I asked why it was broken, and nothing fit, and if he could fix it.
He rudely said that he wasn't responsible for the damage, and that he kept saying "why don't you tell me"? I then countered with "why didn't you email me when you recieved the gun if the parts were broken?" Also wouldn't you test the gun to ensure that it worked before you sent it back? There was then a awakard pasue. Kevin then rudely said "Fine you gave us a hard time by asking why the gun hadn't been upgraded, fine I'll refund your money, but I NEVER WANT TO DO BUISNESS WITH YOU EVER AGAIN!!
Lessons to be learned
-I wasted about 40 dollars shipping
-I wasted my time
-I have to duck-tape my mag for it to fit in the gun.
-They are extremely rude
-I can't effectviley field strip my gun.

To counter the review above me, I have no idea why you had such bad luck. I recently ordered a CA M15A4 RIS and CA MP5 packages.
I called them up and immediatley knew that it was a respectable place because the people there were able to help knock the price down!
Anyway the shipping is very fast. I ordered the long weary ground shipping but found the order came in only 4 days (not business).
The guns came neatly packed with a custom Precision Airsoft planner and pen.
Exactly 32 days later I was in a panic. The MP5 retractable stock broke. I called in and Kevin said send it back no problem. I received the gun a few weeks later and they had a new stock installed.
I would like to say Precision Airsoft is a great place to buy your first or 999999 gun. Hats off to a great company!

I bought a new TM G3 SG/1 from them, with two TM hi-caps, battery, charger, and bag of Excel BBs. Base price on the gun was $285, with the hi-caps and stuff it came to just over $400.
My order was out the door two hours after I placed it, and at my house three days later (I live in NY, they're in the Northwest US). Everything was well packaged. They shipped the gun with an orange plastic flash hider, and the original metal one was in the box.
I can't speak about their upgrade service, but their prices and shipping are top notch. I recommend them to everyone I know.

AEG Upgrade, Long Wait, Poor Service
|
|
I had my first AEG from Precision Airsoft and now, I’m writing my first review. Unfortunately, it’s not a positive review at all. I purchased a G&G UMG along with the upgrades. Took almost a full month before I received it.
When it finally arrived I charged the battery with a brand new ‘Piranha’ charger purchased also from Precision Airsoft. After plugging the charger, I noticed that the meter was not moving to the right, although the battery was heating up. Not wanting to ruin the battery, I disconnected and recharged using another charger. Once charged, I inserted the battery in the UMG slot and found that the Tamiya connector was too large and the wiring too short to properly insert the battery inside. I had to purchase some dean connectors locally, and solder them to make the battery fit.
At this point, I was wondering if the AEG was even tested before it was shipped, because I was beginning to doubt whether or not they even fitted a battery in there using the previous connector setup. Finally, I got to fire the UMG…and almost every other shot was firing 2 BBs on semi. Now, I was seriously beginning to wonder if this AEG was even test-fired at all.
Along with the package were the stock spring, bushings, and air nozzle. I didn’t get the stock gears and polycarbonate piston and piston head so I decided to snoop a little and open the gear box. Wow, what do you know..? That looks like the old stock piston setup to me, and hey, that’s the old tappet plate...hmmm. I read in a review that the new UMGs were supposed to have the new tappet plate installed, and if it wasn’t, the new ones were given to the dealers to be installed. Now, given that it took almost a month for my UMG to be upgraded, shouldn’t the new tappet plate have been installed also during the time?
I’m a very unhappy customer at this point and I’m ready to return this AEG to Precision Airsoft. I should’ve heard warning bells from the first ‘upgrade review’ but I listened instead to the last 2 positive comments. Oh, I haven’t had any problems from the customer service in the beginning, but a friend of mine says to hang up the phone when Kevin answers. I was told that he was a #$@$#! to speak with. Yup, no recommendations from me on this one.

Bought a g&g umg from precision airsoft also. The wire length was ok on mine, but I guess that’s because I bought a custom battery from another dealer. Had problems with the double-feed but I fixed it with a new hop bucking. My issue is with the customer service. I bought the g&g umg with a silencer and also the upgrade and a tactical scope. Waited for a little over 3 weeks before it arrive. At the time I made order, they said they had the silencer but when the package came there was an annotation on the order saying it was on backorder for a week. I guess someone must’ve decided to buy it while they were upgrading my umg, and they went ahead and sold it, thinking the next shipment would arrive in time to send me one. Checked umg and it also had the old tappet plate in there. I opened the scope box and to my dismay its not like the one I ordered from the website. So I called and talked to kevin. He pointed out (in a lecture-sounding voice) that this is why he didn’t want customers buying over the phone coz’ they might not get the exact same product. By the way, I did buy the products OVER the phone BUT I WAS LOOKING AT THE WEBSITE along with the person on the other line who I made the order with! He stated, “I don’t know why we’re arguing about this” when I wasn’t even arguing at the time, but calmly explaining my point. So he decided to look at the site himself while I was on the phone. Awkward silence. It’s the same order, but the photo of the scope they had on their site had clear lens covers and the one I received clearly did not. His explanation: “The company that sends us the telescope was the one that sent us that photo.” And as for my silencer? He said at the time of the call, that it was already shipped and on its way. As of now, I still have no confirmation e-mail from usps of the product being delivered---or even being sent, which means---that this company won’t get any recommendations from me either, and neither will 5 of my buddies who just recently joined airsoft.

How it all began-when I first got into airsoft, I stumbled across this site, looked at their price's, and thought they were good. So I got $360.00 and bought a CA M15A4, they sent it out, I received it. I Played with it a bit, It would'nt shoot, I checked the batterie with a meter, seemed to be full, I checked the fuse, Nothing was wrong(thast I could see)So I called them, a guy named kevin picked up,and he said Oh no problem, just send it back,so I did. I got it back 2 weeks later. It's been find ever since.
M1100- After dealing with them the first time, I decided to order a gun I really wanted. I ordered a Maruzen M1100 shot gun,I paid them. I got the gun 4 day's later. I was thrilled to go to a srkim,So I go to a skrimish the next day, Every one was complimenting my new gun, We start playing, And I see a guy, so I go to shoot, And the bolt exploads into 15 pieces(Yes I was using the right gas). I call kevin up and he said the same "oh no problem man, send it back" so I did, for the past 7 month's i've been calling them, emailing them, Anything I could do, I've done. A few times I've called and They actully picked up the phone and hung up, I've heard them saying "haha dumbass" before hanging up. I'm Pissed About this..
Please Stay Away From Precision Airsoft

Precison Airsoft has always given me great service with all 3 Guns purchased. Classic Army M16-A4, Tokyo Mauri MP5-RAS, Western Arms Colt 1911-A1. Kevin was instrumental in helping with my selections. I will always purchase from Precision Airsoft, and no I was not paid for this endorsement.

I have no idea why people are having such bad luck with Precision Airsoft...
I ordered a TM socom for my friend and it shipped out the next day and arrived 6 days later. There was putty over the trades but it was easy to remove and did no damage to the slide. I recomend them for purchasing guns and accessories but you may want to avoid the upgrade service as most people seem to have bad experiances with it

I live in Spokane, where Precision Airsoft is located, and we all know here that Precision has had some customer service issues in the past. However, Kevin is working hard to change that, and I recently experienced that first hand. I called them up to see if I could come down and look at their Aimpoint replicas, since they're more of a warehouse than a showroom. Kevin was very helpful at showing me my different options and I was able to pick one that suited my needs and wants. The next week, I purchased a TM P90TR, and was given excellent service once again. Keep in mind, they're a pretty small shop, so repairs and upgrades might take a while. They do realize that they've made mistakes in the past and are looking to correct them. +1 for Precision.

Precision has replaced Kevin with the amazing Tim Price, AKA Timmychang. Tim is a PREMIER airsmith, and has done all of the work to my airsoft guns. He is and will always be the only man I go to when I have a problem. He will work on your equipment until it is done right. His love for the sport is only equalled by the quality service he gives. If you want upgrades or repair work on your airsoft gun, Tim is THE MAN!
