Pros: Gore Tex brandname, mossy oak cam, leather toe, great sole
Cons: price

Well saw these on ebay, 1 pair unused in my size.... got them for 50 pounds, shipped. Looked them up and they really retail for 120 and hard to source outside of the US.

They arrived promptly and still with the tags on, brand new as described.

The boots are finished in mossy oak, break up pattern. This pattern is great as it uses light colours to get great contrast. Contrast is one of the most important aspects of cam in my opinion. It fools the eye into thinking there are several objects there, rather than just one.

The boots are made from a tough fabric upper known as silent fabric. A branded goretex sock is embedded in the upper. The toe is protected by a nice leather section. The lacing system is good and stays tight. The laces themselves are very long and must be wrapped around the top of the boot several times during the lacing of the boot. This gives great high leg support and is very comfortable indeed.

The sole is RAMLIGHT for great traction in mud and I must say that they stick to the ground better than my magnums, when it is is slippy. The sole has really chunky grips with large gaps to avoid filling with mud.

They look like they will be very durable. I have worn them for 2 testing weekends so far, so have only limited experiance with them. I found my boots provided excellent warmth, even once sodden and I was just sat still. I never wore my goretex boot liners just to test these boots and despite being in sodden conditions for 2 days, was never damp.

The sole is very wide and gives great traction, which is good for very soft ground (bogs). However, I found the wider sole caused me to stand on more debris that I would normally walk between with my narrower magnums. So I guess I was slightly more audible as I stalked around. One part of the event involved an 8km cross country section in very steep terrain. I finished first and had no sores or rubbing making me deduce these boots are soft enough to not require breaking in.

All in all a great product for the HUNTING market. Only downside is the price, availability and wide sole.
