Ever since i first go into airsoft, i always wanted a GBB Glock 17. When i came round to getting my first GBB, no-where had one of these in stock so i chose something else. But recently i bagged one of these off the forums and it was only 2 weeks old!
First Impressions
Upon opening the package, i was impressed. The box says 'KWA G17 railed frame' and has a picture of the gun. Inside the box there was a loading tool, hop adjuster, barrel block and of course the gun. When i first saw the gun, i was very pleased, it looked fantastic. When i took it out of the box, it was nice too hold, it felt impressive and it's also fairly heavy at 665g.
Using the Gun
The magazine holds 23 rounds and takes green gas no problems. Just tested it and it fired 56 shots on a fill. With the hop set right you can get shots out to 30m with relative ease and the accuracy is pretty good at range too. At ranges of 5-10 metres, you can get shots in the same hole... The kick on it is very impressive too.
I'm VERY impressed with it's looks and how it performs.
it scores a 10/10 for performance
Accessories
Being a Glock, means that there are absolutely LOADS of upgrades and accessories for it. As it has a 20mm rail, you can put all sorts on it;- torches, lasers, wrap around scope mounts or even an M203!! (not that it'd be very secure though, so seriously don't go out and strap an m203 to your glock and expect it to stay secure :P) metal slides chromed or standard
and internally, enhanced recoil springs, high flow valves etc.
it scores an easy 10/10 for upgradability
Conclusion
I have to say, i have been really impressed with this gun and its only downfall, is that it has no trades, because of a law suite with Glock.
i think that it really deserves 10/10 because i can't fault it.
good kick, good power, good accuracy, great build quality, loads of upgrades and accessories.
a well deserved 10/10
