Positive aspects of the product (pros): Full Auto! Full Metal, Heavy, Solid, Green Gas Capable, Slide Catch, Realistic kick
Cons: Heavy, Vast Cool-own of gas on long full auto burst

First Impressions

The first thing you see when you get this gun is the nice handy (yet cheap) carry case it comes in. Once opened you have your pistol and magazine lying there in egg box foam (the kind they sound-proof walls with). This foam is not cut away so the gun and accessories can be placed in a you see fit. Under the foam are the instructions witch actually have english literature! The gun in hand feels very solid with no shakes or rattles and comes quite well lubed. Once the mag is inserted the pistol feels complete, or 'whole'. For me the pistol feel's great in the hand, but thats me.

Marking's and Trademarks

OK, on one side of the gun you have 'M190 Special Force Cal.6mm 2003' stamped on the slide, on the receiver you have 'Full/Semi-Auto' painted on, On the grip there is a small spider-web logo with 'HFC SPECIAL FORCE. Made in TAIWAN' written around it. On the apposing side of the pistol we find 'AIR MODEL FIREARMS READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE' stamped on the slide and the same logo on the grip plus a nasty trademark stamp on the trigger guard.

I would this gun looks great but on close inspections the markings seem to be designed more to a childs toy than an airsoft replica, but oh well.

Also, just to add, there is the marking of 'HFC' at the bottom of each clip.

Basic Operation

Well, there isn't much to be said about loading the gun, just slide you mag in and rack the slide.

Holing the gun the fire selector and slide catch are really easily accessable with your thumb, without re-gripping.

The hop-up isn't adjustable so ow worry's about that.

The mag slides in with grace (as if on bearings) and snaps into place with a resounding 'click'.

This pistol will also take green gas out of the box in any weather.

Actual Firing

The mags hold an adequate 27 rounds and about 3 mags worth of gas.

Upon pulling the trigger I was so happy with the snappy recoil and satisfying 'clack' as you hear all that metal slide rack back and forth.

This pistol also seem's very accurate despite the lack of adjustable hop-up. At 20 meter's a grouping of 3 inches on semi-auto is easily achieved.
Also the sights are very easily used.

Then the fun just get's better as your thumb (all most with a mind of its own) finds its way up to the fire selector and flicks it to 'FA'. Now it feels like you have a sub-machine gun in your hands. The gun is wet-dream inspiring on full auto, BUT has a big problem with cool-down after any more than a 6 round burst Sad

Also, I had a problem of my first few mag cycle's with the bbs not feeding, this was due the the spring in the mag not actually bringing them up to the top of the mag. This was a real downer but a quick spray of silicon oil in the BB well sorted that out.

Conclusion

This gun is great, Its only let down's are markings and cool-down effects.

The pro's of this gun do far out-weigh the con's. It is such a satisfying gun to fire.

I have put 3000+ rounds through mine and have not had a single jam. It is built like a rock and just keeps pumping out those white balls of pain.

All in all I wish I could have given this gun a 10 if it weren't for the let down's of the markings and cool-down.

Go and buy one, NOW!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Rock Solid
Cons: I didnt get the auto version :(

Unfortunatly I brought this product 2 weeks before they brought the full auto out but thats the way it goes. Doesnt bother me too much because I'm not the sort of person to hold the trigger down.

What can I add that hasnt already been said about this gun everywhere on most forums. Crono's at 285 on Green, nice crisp action and a great sound to pack as well. Never had a problem with this gun. Very nice weight to it.

Some people dont like the silent valve mags but i think they are great as save gas wasteage and burning ur hands easily. I just hold it on for 8 or so seconds and know its full. If you listen carefully you can hear it coming out of the bottle.

Obviously with most pistols, mine doesnt get used a great deal, is always there as a back up, but has never failed when I needed it. Cooldown is noticable if you fire off a whole mag in a row, but as I never do, this isnt an issue.

One downside to it is the bottom rail. This is undersized and the notch is in the wrong place, hence it will not fit my M6 comfortably which is a bit of a shame. May get round to sorting it out somehow if I can find away of putting more material on without it falling back off.

Next to the KWA G19, this is imo one of the most reliable skimishable gun, which wont break easily and is a great looking gun, as long as ur not bothered about accurate trades.

How can it be better? Sorted lower rail, thats about it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Weight, feel, full auto
Cons: Markings, cool-down

Just a quick add-on to the reviews above, i bought one of these about a year ago, within a week i had taken it back, what happened is the full auto stopped working during it's first skirmish! i don't know what happened, it would fire fine in semi, but select full auto and semi auto fire was all you got, so, back to the shop it went (airsoft warehouse), it was duely replace with a new one that worked fine, for about six months! then guess what? the same problem occured! I don't know if it's a bad batch of products, but it's deffinatley a problem to watch out for and because of it airsoft warehouse no longer stock it!

All said, it's still my fav back up, just because it fits my plate sized hand so well

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Sounds and feels menacing
Cons: My one doesn't work very well.

I got this second hand from someone off the forums, and it came with 2 magazines. Unfortunately I broke the trigger spring (a common problem I hear) within the first week, and that was before my gas had arrived. So I ordered more trigger springs, but it turns out that taking it apart is fine, but putting it back together is a horrible experience. I think I may have broken the gas release, so it uses my whole mag of gas in 15 shots. Otherwise it is a great gun, and I really like it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Durable, lovely looks, ergonomic, accurate, realistic
Cons: Trades look funny, and all your friends will want one

The first thing you'll see is a cheap case (that is extremely useful), with a big sticker that has a picture of the training weapon.

Once you open it, you'll see your new weapon in its cheap throne of glory with some decent ammo along side (estimating 100 rounds).

Attacking the cons first:
1. Trades are rather silly
2. Auto is sometimes just too tempting (hehe)

Now the Pros (much more to talk about here):
1. Very nice weight (heavier than the real one)
2. Nice solid feel build from careful inspection.
3. Extremely Ergonomic/Comfortable (for me)
4. Perfect balance of trigger resistance
5. Looks quite 'pritty'
6. The training weapon is also quite accurate...
7. A beautiful satisfying metal *CHINK* while in use

Sorry for lack of detail;
however, the only thing that I can complain about
is that the trademarks are... rather silly.
Well, all your friends will want one too,
and that can be rather bothersome.

Overall, HFC has earned my respect by this
training weapon alone. It is my perfect
side arm. I LOVE IT

(My compliments and respect to HFC engineers)
