Positive aspects of the product (pros): price, solid construction, powerful, loud, 2 mags, multi pump options
Cons: mags are hard to swap

I bought this years ago from WGC. It has had lots and lots of use and is still going strong with no problems so far.

The 1kg sawn off version of the "masterkey" for M16A2 is a great gun. mostly constructed from tough ABS it is durable enough to be thrown around and still work. With key parts such as the cocking tube and parts of the slide and internals being metal.

The slide racks smoothly and is not a struggle like like the TM can be. This means it is easy enough to slide when in awkward situations or the grip is wet.

The gun itself has several controls. On the right side of the outer barrel above the pump; is a slider. This slider can be set to load 1 or 2 pellets upon each pump. A sprung switch is situated near the trigger guard and when held down, the pump can be pumped several tmes.

This means it is possible to set to 2 shots and then pump twice to load 4 pellets....

Performance....

well with 1 shot the gun has good accuracy and reasonable range (30m) using 0.25g ammo. It chronographs at 300fps with 0.20g, however they fly too eratically to bother using on single shot.

As you fire 2 shots simultaniously it is noticable the drop in range to 20m. With 3 pellets the range again drops to under 15m and at 4 pellets range is good enough for CQB at 10m.

This gun has only a single barrel and the multi load option is purely for use in urban or close game situations. Otherwise it is useless. I Have taped my selector on 1 shot and only bother to multipump if opponents are hiding in ditches or holes. Then the gun's drop in power is useful for lob shotting up close into the position.

This gun cannot be slam fired. You have to release the trigger and pull it each pump to get it to fire.

The gun comes with 2 very long spring magazines. The fit in the forward lower tube and are very tricky to insert without the ammo getting launched into the magwell. If this happens it must be emptied before the mag will lock into place. Luckily they hold 45 pellets each and it is rare you need this gun in a sustained engagement. If it runs out, I forget it and go onto my pistol.

The gun comes with no sights at all and you have to just align a groove that runs along the reciever top. For such a simple system, you can get very good with it and still hit hard targets at 30m. Therefore the sights are more to do with instinct and are very fast.

The metal trigger is nice enough and an ok trigger pull. The gun itself is loud and scares people (due to it's good velocity using 0.25g). I used it in urban games and found it's smaller size and slim design gave it an edge over TM shotguns, although it struggles in open firepower compared. It often shined through in a 1 shot exchange with it holding 45 pumps (+6).

A chamber internally holds 6 pellets. Should the gun run out at an inoppertune time, you can cock it upside down to get these extra 6 shots.... this can be useful. However, next time you load the mag, the first 6 will go into this chamber.

A sling attachment is fitted to the bottom of the sawn off grip. I use a parachord sling and simply tie it to the front tube support. I find the shotty is a reasonable choice for a back up due to it's slim design, ability to take a few knocks and lightweight.

It fits into the 3 loops on the rear of a SAAV a treat and can be drawn over the shoulder (due to it not having an external mag).

All in all, this gun has yet again proven to be value for money. I bought it before the CA M870 was released but rate it over it for several reasons..... the multi pump feature and slim lines. Even though the 870 has better mags and in places better build. Compared to the M870, it has similar performance but using 0.25g gives it better accuracy.

It has a bit of a rep as I put a nasty third eye in the centre of a friends forehead (shot him through a window in urban). With lots of rounds through it, this gun is till going strong.

I would recommend it to someone who wants a practical backup that is not too big to drag round. A joy to use and satisfying to shoot AEG players with too. I wouldn't want to fit it under an AEG though.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great value and some metal parts
Cons: Some faults and feels a little hollow

I recently got one of these, also from WGCShop, after test firing in the garden for a while it all seemed to be going well, the lack of aiming aids was refreshing and the multipump option was a nice bonus.

Accuracy was good, if somewhat hindered by lack of aiming, but with practice I could hit pegs on a line from 10m or so.

The next day I was just emptying it all out, quadruple checking that there were no rounds hiding in the magwell section, it does have a tenancy to leave a few in such a way that they can accidentally get loaded. Suddenly there is a "Bad Noise"™ when pulling the action back to halfway, I try again and it seems to go, then on third try comes back again. I decide to take it apart to have a look, suspecting it is the multi-pump mechanism catching something.

To cut a long story short, something, I;m still not sure what exactly, caused the multipump mechanism to start to catch the metal arm that extends into the receiver from the grip. The only way I could see to fix it was to remove the mechanism completely, which I found is not so much a "multipump mechanism" more a "prevent multipumping mechanism". So I now have a continually pumpable shottie. Not altogether bad, but once the spring is compressed there is nothing holding the grip in place, so it rattles and can slip back.

I would still recommend this, as it may not happen to yours and even if it does.. it still looks and feels the part. Great to put in the back of your SAAV if you don't use a camel back. I;ve been watching too much Aliens Smile
