My experience with Evike has always been good. They always deliver my order on time, and their prices used to be pretty good. Their prices, however, seem to be getting higher and higher, and they don't offer free shipping for order over $30 anymore (they raised that limit quite a bit now). Haven't had much business with them recently, but when I did before, they were not bad.

What can I say about Evike? I shopped at other retailers before, but then a friend recommended me to try Evike. Since then, I've spent more than $700 in under a month at his store! I bought my CA M15A4 CQB package, WE Dragon package, and tactical gear package from his store, and saved alot of money in doing so. Shipping was always 2-3 business days. Their email service can be slow, but you could just call the retail store if you have any questions. If you find a better price, they can usually match or beat their competitor's prices! Gotta love that. A++ :-) I hope to buy more goods from him, once I get more money. :-P

Doesn't answer emails, slow to ship, promotions often buried in site, screws up your orders regularly
|
|
I ordered a KWA G17, an extra mag, a Sansei mask, and some assorted bits and bobs from Evike.com. Their price beat anyone else by at least $20 and they had everything I wanted in stock. Hooray!
Three days later, I was worried, as I still didn't see the charge on my bank account. I emailed them, never got a response. The following day the charge showed up. Five days after the order was placed I got an email with a UPS tracking number in it, but a disclaimer saying that they didn't actually have the package - they had just electronically issued a tracking number for it. A few days later the package still wasn't showing up as actually being picked up in UPS's tracking system, so I dug Evike's phone number out of their site and gave them a call. They indicated that the package had actualy left their store on the day the tracking number was issued. Fair enough I said, and hung up.
Package finally arrived eleven days after placing the order.
Another annoyance is that they offer free shipping on orders over $100, but it's not automatically counted on your order, you have to know about it and add their "free shipping" item to your basket before checkout. I of course didn't know this, and so paid shipping on my gun.
Good stock, great prices, fair service is how I'd rate them overall.
EDIT on March 13, 2006: I and my friends have continued to order from Evike.com because of their great prices. As long as you remember to manually add the "Free Shipping" item to your cart and expect them to take a couple of days to process your online order, everything seems good.
EDIT on July 02, 2006: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=68113
I give up. After six months of trying to order stuff from evike.com, and having them screw up the orders over half the time, I'm done with evike.com.

You don't know what you're going to get inside the package.

I bought Evike's M733 package for 300 dollars, and was pretty excited. It took at least two weeks to get the order however, and that got me a little bit annoyed, but once I got it, I was fine.
The gun's trades came intact, which was good, but something to note was that it came with a wall charger and a NiMh battery. Now it's recommended that you charge NiMh batteries with a smart charger, but I wasn't aware of that at the time. The battery was a 8.4v 1100 mah "Batteryspace.com" NiMh battery pack, that looked VERY used, and as if it was just someone elses battery.
After I charged the battery, the gun was shooting at a slower speed I thought, and would die very quickly, after 300 rounds. I called Tokyo Marui, and the customer service guy (Well if you speak Japanese) was very polite (Good guy) and said that with the recommended 8.4v 600 mah battery, it shoots much faster than that, around 800-900 RPM I believe. So I called evike, but they said just ship it back, but I wasn't in the mood for another battery they would ship, as the battery I had was messed up. So that was that, and I bought myself a new sanyo 600 mah battery pack, along with a new charger/discharger, and the gun functioned nicely.
So all in all, I think the store is a good store, just stay away from the packages, as it isn't clear on what battery they might ship you. (If you're new to airsoft especially) But all in all, they carry a good amount of accessories, so I'd defitenly recommend this store.

Horrid Customer Service
|
|
I ordered two items:
Tokyo Marui Superior .30 BBs
Digicon Straight White .36 bbs
Both were listed as in-stock on their website so I went ahead and ordered them.
I recieved a package in the mail which contained a bag of Digicon Straight Grey Coated .36 bbs and a backorder slip for the Marui bbs.
Their "customer service" gave me two options: Wait for the Marui bbs (which are not made anymore) or they would sent their house brand .30 bbs.
I knew that they would never get any Marui Superiors in, so I told them to send me the .30's that they had.
During the same phonecall I talked to them about returning the Grey Coated Straight .36 bbs for the White Uncoated ones I ordered.
Their representative said he could not assist me with a return and that I would have to file a request for RMA.
I filed the request and I still have not recieved a formal reply.
I phoned them at least three times over a week and a half period demanding that something be done.
I explained numerous times that I ordered the .36 bbs that were UNCOATED, not the COATED ones that were sent to me. I had to inform them that the grey coated bbs are coated in graphite/teflon which rubs off in the hopup and inner barrel causing erradic accuracy, a problem that the white uncoated ones that I ordered do not have.
They said they DIDN'T THINK THAT WAS TRUE and said the only difference was in the color and that my RMA request is denied.
I argued with them and was put on hold for the "RMA Specialist" who 10 minutes later HUNG UP ON ME while I was still on hold.
I called back immediately and was told that the "RMA Specialist" was unavailable.
Next I sent the "RMA Specialist" an email which was never replied to.
So now I am stuck with their brand .30 bbs which aren't very good and a bag of coated .36 bbs which I refuse to shoot through my G-Spec.
Do yourself a favor and never order anything from this terrible retailer.

I ordered from evike four times and each time they screwed it up. The first time I ordered the matrix bbs (total garbage)and a tm ak47 hicap.
When I got it a full 10 days later and nothing was wrong.Untill I used the bbs in the hicap.I poured them in and wound it up, nothing was wrong then in the middle of the game the mag stopped working. I had to stop and look at the mag to find out that a deformed bb had jammed and broke the mag. when I contacted evike and they said it wasn’t there problem, this is back when there email still worked.
The next problem I had was when I ordered 5000 20g bbs and a utg m870 .When I got it it was all wrong the utg was a double eagle. But at least they bbs weren’t screwed up or so I thought. I loaded them in to my pistol and they jammed it every time. So I called evike and told them that the bbs kept jamming, they told me that the bbs I ordered where defective and should have never been shipped so they sent me new ones so not all bad.
The third time I had a problem with them I ordered a we gas mag and 2000 20g bbs. When I got it there were no bbs and the mag was broken. When I called them they said to send the mag back on my dime, and about the bbs they said they rarely for get to send out bbs and they weren’t going to send anymore out. I finally persuaded them to pay for the shipping on the mag but they still wounded send the bbs so I called the every day for three weeks and they still wouldn’t send them out.
The final straw was when me and my team ordered $200 worth of bbs 15 bags of 25g and 4 bags of 20g bbs. When we got them they hadn’t send four bags of 25g bbs and two bags of 20g bbs.I contacted them and told them the problem and they said to email my name and probelm. Its been two days and I still haven’t gotten a reply, so I canceled the check my be that will make them work faster.
I don’t know who does the customer service but they need to learn some f***ing English.
I was just to stupid to stop ordering from them.
Well that’s all I have to say about evike. All I know is I’ve had very bad luck with the. But other people have had very good luck with them so its up to you.

Dear Arnie's Airsoft Members,
I am writing this today because I want to inform you of a situation which has developed between myself and an online supplier, Evike.com.
I ordered an ICS M4 C-15 (SR-16) from Evike.com around Thanksgiving of 2006. The gun arrived, but had a variety of problems. The major problem appeared to be electrical as the gun would fire, and then stop firing. A bit of jiggling of the wires coming out of the stock would fix
this problem, but it was still a problem nonetheless. In addition, the gun would
sometimes fire fully automatic when set to the semi-automatic mode. After having the gun
and firing probably about 2000 rounds through it, the gun would just whir and not fire.
Eventually it stopped firing altogether. I assumed that this was an electrical problem
again.
In addition, there was some wear and tear on the gun. The black paint near the stock and
grip of the gun was worn away, and the paint on the flash suppressor was also worn. To me
it appears that the gun may have been a store model and was hung on a wall or rack. I
only assume this from where the paint has been rubbed away.
I e-mailed Evike.com and filled out their RMA (return request) form. I returned the gun
to them at a cost of $30 to myself and the gun was in their custody for about five to six weeks. When the gun was returned to me I happily ripped open the packaging, plugged a battery into the gun and pulled the trigger. The gun cycled for one round and then would not fire. I assumed again that this was an electrical problem.
Rather than returning the gun to Evike.com for another six weeks, I opened the gun's
stock and wired Dean's Connectors into place where the tamiya connectors were. This still
did not solve the problem. I assumed that the problem then was with the gearbox and I
took the gun to a local shop, Empire Airsoft. I had the technician there open the
gun to see what the problem was. The problem was in the wiring assembly. He fixed this
problem, but while doing so informed me that the gun had a TURBO 2000 motor and nylon or
plastic bushings.
Hearing this, I was a bit surprised considering that I ordered the new 2006 ICS M4 C-15
with the TURBO 3000, Metal bushings, new wiring, etc, from the Evike.com website. Had I
known that I would be receiving an older model gun I would not have ordered from
Evike.com.
What is puzzling to me is that on their website they list all of their ICS
guns as the new 2006 model with all of the new upgrades. In fact, the box in which my gun
was shipped had a sticker on it identifying the gun as a new 2006 model with all of those
upgrades.
Evike.com’s website states very specifically states that new ICS models come with:
"ICS refer this AEG as a Pre-upgraded EAG because this 2006 model now comes with:
1) New Turbo 3000 Super Torque Motor
2) Precision Cut Reinforced Motor Pinion Gear
3. Precision Cut Reinforced No.1 (Bevel) Gear.
4. Steel Bushing, Made of harden silicon alloy.
5. Low resistance 16-AWG Electric wire. "
http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=AEG_ICS_PCR97_SR16&Category_Code=AEG_ICS
So, after having the gun returned to me by my local shop, I phoned Evike.com and
explained the situation to them. They directed me to fill out an RMA form and send it in
to them with all of the details. I did so and included my original order number and
everything else they requested. In this e-mail I detailed my dealings with the gun, how I had opened the gun and added Dean’s Connectors and how the gun had been repaired by the Empire Airsoft technician. Unfortunately, they e-mailed me back and told me that
they would not allow the gun to be returned for a full reimbursement, but that they would
send me a new motor and metal bushings.
This solution was unacceptable to me, so I e-mailed their ICS supplier in the United States, TeamSD. I explained the situation to one of TeamSD’s representatives and they told me that they would contact Evike.com and look into my claim.
A few days after I spoke via e-mail with the TeamSD representative, I received an e-mail from Evike.com. They advised me to return the gun and that they would send me a new 2006/2007 model ICS C-15.
I followed the directions in their e-mail and returned the gun at a cost to myself of $30.
Today, however, I was phoned by an Evike.com representative who told me that the gun had “cosmetic damage.” I enquired as to what that damage was and was told that the paint on the gun’s grip/stock was worn away. Upon hearing this I informed the representative that that cosmetic damage was mentioned in my original RMA (return request). The damage was present on the gun when I first received it.
The representative informed me that he would have to call me back.
In the end, I ordered a specific type of gun from their website and paid a significant amount for it. The gun they sent me was not the correct model, despite what their website said and what was
labeled on the box. I realize that I voided the warranty by opening up the gun, but had
this not been done there would have been no way for me to tell if the gun was really the
correct model. In the end, finding out that the gun was not the correct model was done
only in a round-about way as I was trying to get the gun to function properly.
Had I known that I would not be getting the latest model (as
was shown on their website) I would not have ordered from them. In addition, while I
returned the gun to be fixed and paid to have it shipped all the way to California, the
gun which was returned to me did not work and I was forced to go to a local shop to have
the problem remedied.
While I am still awaiting a reply from Evike.com concerning this issue, I have also filed a report with a California branch of the Better Business Bureau.
Upon an examination of the Better Business Bureau’s website I noted that Evike.com has a “D” rating.
http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=100013774
UPDATE: 2-12-06
The Better Business Bureau got back to me this morning. In their e-mail they informed me of Evike.com's final decision on my problem. This is what was written:
"Initial Response - Posted 2-9-2007
Company states, they have issued a RMA authorized return and have returned a fully functional gun to the customer. Due to the fact that the gun has been altered and had been in the customer possession for over 3 months a refund will not be offered. Please refer to their warranty for information on the terms for refunds.
Initial Response Summary
Company states, the gun has been returned in working condition. No refund per company warranty terms."
Unfortunately, the gun has NOT be returned to me. I have recieved no tracking information of Evike.com and no gun has arrived on my doorstep. Perhaps Evike.com is a bit slow in getting this information to be, but no gun has arrived.
So, in the end, Evike.com decided to not allow me to return the gun as they initially said I could, and they also have not (yet) returned my property to me.
If you have, like me, had problems with Evike.com please report them to the Better Business Bureau so that concerned consumers can have a better record how this business is treating people.
Thank you very much for reading this rather exhaustive post…
If need be I am prepared to post all documentation which I have accumulated from my interactions with Evike.com

About six months ago I purchased a Well R7 and a bunch of accessories from them, and had no real big problem. After 15 days, the R7 started firing sideways, unlike it was supposed to. I noticed this and emailed them about it. I never got a response. I ended up fixing it myself, but the lack of communication concerned the heck out of me. I've had numerous inquiries about products that they carry, and each time I got a response - only until recently. I emailed them 2 days, consecutively and never got a response. Since it wasn't a big deal, I just left it alone. I'll purchase from evike again, but only for their exclusive items.

I recently bought a CA M16A4 package from Evike and also paid for 2-day shipping. The second I bought it, I sent emails stating that it needed to ship out within one day, I sent them a note on my invoice also stating the same. I called twice, levaing messages.
The next day, I hadnt recieved an email or a phone call, so I called again and asked them to ship it on that day since I had paid for 2 day Air. After telling the "Customer Service" rep my problem, he put me on hold for 10 minutes and then explained it would ship out in 5 days and not to worry. I again explained to him that I paid for 2 day shipping and that It needed to be shipped in 1 day. He said that it couldnt happen, so I asked for a full refund.
Finally, upon asking for a refund did he tell me he would ship it that day, and he did, but only after a 20 minute phone call and me threatening to get a refund.
Ughh, all in all, just bypass evike if you can, they have made so many bad deals and so many mistakes that its just not worth the hassle.

After reading the reviews here, and elsewhere, I took a gamble and ordered from Evike. They were the only placed that carried the dump pouch i wanted too, so I was kinda stuck getting it thru them. I placed the order saturday night. Got an email right afterwards saying i was billed yada yada. Then monday came along, woke up to my phone telling me i got another email from them of my item being shipped. (mind you this is 9AM and i'm on the west coast and so is Evike.) Deff a plus in my book when they actually ship something early in the morning. Package showed up 4 days later, which isn't amazing, but UPS is pretty slow, so i can't really blame Evike. Arrived in the right color and undamaged. (would take alot for the tossers at UPS to mess up a dump pouch, but i wouldn't put it past them.)
All in all though, a good experince. They didn't include a packing slip, but not a biggie.

they just suck in general. I went for repairs on two occasions and 2 occasions they have manged to screw it up one way or another (shoddy rewire on one gun, and making another lose the ability of semi). Luckily if you get pissed off at them enough (at the walk in store that is) for messing up they will fix it for a price even though its their fault. I just got super pissed at them and eventually they fixed it for free. I bought several guns and out of 4 guns I got 2 require me to fix one thing or another. I do not recommend evike unless your looking for frustration. Just search evike in the forums and you will hear the horror stories.

I ordered a big box of gearboxes, hops, and barrels. I went for the 2-day shipping, and everything arrived in good order.
Everybody is going to have a bad day, but Evike appears to be setting a good example at the moment.
I know what it's like to have demand outstrip supply, and if a retailer doesn't have an item in ready stock, there's probably good reason. It is, however, frustrating to have to wait for an item. Especially if it's critical to a need.
Evike, in light of the reputation preceding, taught ME a lesson in rapid response.
They're doing a great job-
I'm taking notes.

I bought a G&P metal upper receiver for the TM P90 and a Guarder red dot scope. I received an EMPTY scope box and the P90 receiver was missing the barrel collar/support. I made several phone calls and got the runaround. In the end I got no help whatsoever. They lost a customer with me. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Customer service as bad as it can get, don't ever let them do work on a gun

Evike is one of the older US dealers but I would have to say their far from the best. In fact I would say their one of the worst. Their prices on most of their items are very fair but their customer service might be the worst in the US. Similarly their ability to work on a gun is very poor. I had a simple repair job done on an M4A1 by TM (the motor fried and, being long before I started doing my own internal work I didnt know what to do to fix it or what was wrong with it) and other than identifying the problem wrong at first, they completely botched the job, to the point where I had them send it back and had another company fix it for me.
