Positive aspects of the product (pros): Comfortable, Hard wearing, Latches on to belt without velcro position locks
Cons: Adds a few inches on to the wearer's waiste-line so a larger belt may be required

A while ago, I invented a new concept in Airsoft Skirmishing - my Belt-Of-Doom. Basically, it is a medium sized Tactical Duty Belt holding the following kit...

  • Two Glock 23f pistols
  • TM Desert Eagle pistol
  • TM Hi-Capa pistol
  • KWA USP Compact pistol
  • 4 x Standard Glock 23f magazines
  • 4 x Extended 50rnd Glock magazines
  • 4 x TM Desert Eagle magazines
  • 4 x KWA USP Compact magazines
  • 2 x TM Hi-Capa magazines
  • 1 x Magazine Dump Pouch
  • 4 x TM/STTI BB Loading Tools
  • 1 x GB-Tech Distraction Device
  • SERPA Holsters for the Glock 23fs
  • SERPA Holster for the KWA USP Compact
  • Drop-Leg Holster for the TM Desert Eagle
  • Drop-Leg Holster for the TM Hi-Capa 5.1
  • Triple Mag-Pouch for the KWA USP Compact magazines
  • Triple SMG Mag Pouch for the 50rnd Extended Glock magazines
  • Double mag pouch for two spare Glock 23f magazines

This is great fun to use, but VERY heavy. All this weight and the loops of all the holsters and pouches make for an uncomfortable belt to wear long-term. The belt loops can dig in to your hips and with all that weight pulling the belt tight over the course of an entire day's skirmishing, you soon begin thinking about ways to improve the concept.

Well, here it is! The Belt Pad is an inner-liner for most tactical duty belts. Made of a firm foam inside the usual good quality Cordura-like material, it is a no-frills solution that is easy to install and use.

The pad has belt-loops on its outer surface to wrap around the inside of your belt. These loops are held together with velcro, but there is no inner-edge velcro strip to anchor the loop to a specific place on a tactical belt. This is a good thing. If these loops did use velcro belt anchors, it would be very difficult to install or adjust, and it would be unable to absorb the sort of flexibility required.

The end result is a belt that remains comfortable no matter how much weight you load on to it. Just what the doctor ordered! Smile

I'll give this product a 9 out of 10. It does exactly what you want it to do without getting in the way, but might mean that you have to buy a larger tactical belt as this will add a few inches to your waiste-line.

Roll on the next outing for the "Belt-Of-Doom" Wink
