I have had a G18C for a fair while now and rate it as the perfect sidearm for my style of gaming. I am not into gas and prefere a quieter gun with no kick. Anyway I play games that last a long time (upto 5 days) and go throughout the cold Uk winter months. This is where the AEP shines through over gas in my eyes.
However, the provided battery with the AEP's is only 200mah. This means it can power around 300+ shots maybe over 450 on auto. However, this is slightly lower in colder weather along with ROF, although velocity of the shots is not reduced.
Due to the length of my games I thought a spare battery a wise investment. For only 12.50 in the UK you can double up the amount of power your pistol has. A wise long term investment compared to a can of gas in my scrooge eyes.
Now with 2 low caps, a high cap and 2 batteries the AEP G18C has the staying power to be used to it's full potential. I can carry it without it encumbering me and it enables me to stand my ground far more vs AEG players.
Any AEP owner will tell you just how good the battery change is. Well with a spare battery, you can get to fully appreciate it in game.
Recommend it to any AEP owner. Only once down to your second battery do you have to conserve your power. Great piece of mind. Bargain. just wished it was higher ampage (hence the 9 out of 10).
