Positive aspects of the product (pros): Quality hard case, Great quality glasses, Spare lenses, Prescription lens insert included, Anti-fog design, Comfortable
Cons: Fairly pricey considering what they are, Darkened lenses are not fog-proof

I bought a set of these because I was unhappy with the full-face mask I had previously purchased (fogged up easily, uncomfortable to wear, got in the way of scopes and stocks, etc...), so I was quite excited when my new Guarder Safety Glasses arrived.

First thing I noticed was the beautiful hard-case that the glasses come in. The 2003 model came in a soft draw-string bag, but this 2004 model has a carry-anywhere case that improves the presentation of the product no end.

When I opened it, I noticed that everything is held in place nicely and this case will do me nicey to take to games.

It comes with a fair bit of kit too. 4 lenses of different types, and a nifty little bag for the glasses themselves. Now which lenses shall I use first?

The four lenses are...
  • Transparent (Clear)
  • Darkened (like Sunglasses)
  • Yellow (vision enhancing)
  • Polarised (these just look funky)

I have found the yellow lens to be the most useful overall as they have an excellent light-enhancing quality, and improve the clarity of your vision in-game.

One thing that did surprise me though, is that although it comes with 4 lenses, only 3 of them are fog-proof. The darkened 'sun-glasses' lens is not fog resistant and fogs up very easily. The others are excellent though. The non-fog-proof one was the one that came attached to the frame.

The fog-resistant qualities are as good as any other anti-fog product on the market, although they will fog up slightly on very humid or rainy days, when your breath is directed directly on to the lenses (as with some face protectors that deflect your breath upwards.

Ballistically, these glasses are excellent. They will withstand any BB hit from a sub-1 Joule gun at any range.

The glasses also come with an insert that can hold prescription lenses. This means that you can wear your normal vision-enhancing lenses under these glasses if necessary.

Overall, I give these glasses 9 out of 10. It would have been a solid 10 but for the price and the lack of fog-proofing on the darkened lenses. All in all, yet another top job rom Guarder - they come with me to every skirmish I attend.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Work Perfectly, Look Good. Selction of Lenses
Cons: Fog up sometimes.

Nothing I can really say about these that hasn't already been said.

Excelent protection, I've taken rounds in them and nothing has happened, they just bouced off.

Unfortunately they do tend to fog up, and I've found this with all the lenses I've used.

Personally I like the yellow light enhancing lenses and the smoke sunglasses style ones, depending on the scenario and weather.
