Pros: Looks bad, eliminates all the noise
Cons: Coloring scuffs

So you have your M11 and it looks really good and is a bunch of fun to shoot. You want to take it to the next level though, and you have seen the pictures in the manual of the M11 with that big fat silencer. There are a couple of manufacturers that make them KSC being one and King Arms being the other – of course there are other M11 silencers but this is a review of the best looking being the 230x42mm one.

King Arms have done a great job of copying KSC’s silencer. The unit is made from aluminum and is coated in a mate black dye/bluing/not sure. The inside is filled with foam and does a great job of shutting the M11 up. Actually the sound deading is amazing, but then with a silencer of this size I would expect that. The silencer eliminates virtually all the sound bar the mechanical noise generated by the blowback. I have used it in a kill house and you really can’t hear it coming with the noise of slamming doors and screaming men running around. Of course the silencer looks mean and makes the M11 even more intimating – if that’s possible. The threading on the M11 is quite course so attachment is pretty quick and there is little chance of threading the barrel as with other silencers.

The down sides of this product are that it does double the length of the weapon so if you’re concerned about length then go for something shorter. The coloring is susceptible to scuffing whereas paint/powder coat doesn’t seem to have this problem – this is where the KSC version wins. All in all it’s a pretty good product and a fairly reasonable price. I’m very happy with the way my one has come out and the performance is outstanding.
