Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cool mag design, good looks, great performance
Cons: For the money, there's really not any :)

I LOVE this gun! You could NOT ask for more for the price. Twas my first airsoft rifle, and I'm glad it was.

Initial Impressions

I ordered mine for around 40-ish USD from http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/ (They're great folks, I've always had positive buissiness with them; great if you're in the States, express shipping for me is only 2 bucks! :D )
It came in a US Desert Tricolour box in what I thought was a very nice presentation for the money. It's got MP5 SD all over the outside of the box, along with a Dessert Camo boonie in the corner.

Opening it up

Upon opening the box, you're greeted by the gun, a few safety leafelets, and the instructions; which I found at age eleven extremely easy to comprehend. The gun itself sits in the standard styrofoam, with the silencer, gun, and mag in different slots. The stock is pushed into the gun to save room in the box for cheaper shipping. (Actually, it may be in a different slot as well; I am running on memory from 5 years ago. If this is the case, it's easily attacthed in litterally 3 seconds.) The little bolt charging handle is also unattached and you must do it, but you simply screw it in.

Okay okay, what of the gun, you!?

It looks very good, epecially considering what you pay for. It's got a red Hop-Up sticker on the left-hand side of the reciever on the mag well. I took mine off (It's red, so...You know.)then applied Goo-Gone. (For that hint of Orange scent)
The sights are adjustable (Well, the rear sightbase is.) Pretty much the same as any MP5, but it doesn't have a V-Notch for close range engagements; this is replaced by simply a larger view hole. From then on, you can turn for three other sizes, depending on your personal prefferances. (I use the smallest one; eveyone knows I'm retentive about accuracy.)
The magazine is an ingenuitive design. Basically, it holds twenty in the front section (the part that will actually feed to the gun) and about 150 or so in the rear compartment. This way, when you reload, all you have to do is take off the lid on the back part, pour some into your hand, push the spring for the front part down, and pour the BBs into the front part. Put the lid back on, mag back in, push the button on the bottom of the mag that holds the spring down (Please, DON'T forget to do this, or you'll dry fire.) pull the bolt, safety off, sight-alignment, trigger squeeze. I know this all sounds complicated, but it's astonishingly easy and fast to do.

Yeah yeah, but what of the actual thing WORKING!?!?

On to the fun part.
First off, accuracy (Oh hooray, my favorite!) On this thing, the statement "You get what you pay for" jumps right off the Empire State Building, and completely misses the glass of water at the bottom. The thing has great range and SUPERB accuracy with .2 gram ammunition. I can get--No lie, I measured--.25 inch groupings on this thing at 25 feet. (Give or take, that's 7-ish metres.)
Measures taken over six shots. Now, that's not a long range; I just added that to show consistancy. The range on this thing? Excellent. You won't be disapointed. You can golf 'em in at easily long enough ranges for your neighborhood springer wars.
Just so you know, you'll want the silencer on all the time. It doesn't alter sound, but it DOES increase range and accuracy.

So why a 9, not a 10?

The only reason it doesn't get a ten is because (like any springer, really) you can't take it apart. I'm not sure why you'd even want to, but it's very hard to get back together.
Yes, the gun is all plastic; but it's really quite tough PVC-like material, it's very thick. Through all the hell I've put mine through, not anything externally has even looked like coming anywhere near cracking. Just don't take it apart, and you'll be fine.
The one thing about this gun: When the selector switch to auto (not that you would; it won't actually make it auto, silly! And I only say that because a kid with some springer asked me why his wouldn't shoot auto when he switched it that way <_< ), the edge of the selector switch gnaws at your hand. Solution: Keep it on semi. It's closer to safe anyhow. Oh, and remember; this isn't UHC's fault; that's how the actual MP5 selector switch is.

So, to sum up, if you play with other springers and/or LPEGs (This thing OWNS LPEGs; it's not auto, but it's more powerful and accurate.)
and you've got the money, go for it. Just remember not to take it apart or pull the bolt too hard (shouldn't be done on any gun).

Cheers,
Matt
