Positive aspects of the product (pros): Excellent quality and ease of use.
Cons: Cost

Another quality product from King Arms, this time a very well made replica of the ARMS Inc #22M68 Throw Lever Ring, along with the Full and Half Spacers. I use the word replica loosely as to me it springs to mind something that is substandard, and this item is certanly not! No pot metal in sight, this units made from aluminunm alloy and steel, coloured black to finish.

The ring section is secured with a type of Torx screw which a key is supplied for, the rest use a normal allen key arrangment, which allows for simple changes of the spacers to adjust the height of the scope for different guns or configurations.

Originally designed by ARMS Inc specifically for the Aimpoint ML 1, 2 and 3 RDS, you just know its the mount to use for the Aimpoint's. I use it on my MP5 matched to the G&G Lowmount, but it was designed around the M16/M4 to allow cowitnessing. I use it because in my opinion its the best quick release mount for the aimpoint available.

It is very secure fit with no movement watsoever, this is due to the way the lever works as it tightens to its final, very flush, position. Being quick release, if the RDS fails or is damaged so it cant be coqwitnessed through, it allows for quick removal. For me it allows quick strip down for transport, battery faliure or servicing.

If your in the market for an aimpoint mount other than the standard offerings, this is by far the best style to go for, and just as good as the "Real McCoy"

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Beautiful, good build, 25mm and 30mm rings, very quick detach
Cons: Price

This is a mini review of the King Arms Throw Lever Mount w/ Forward Riser, slightly different in the mounting look but essentially the same mount as the above product.

I was looking to get an Aimpoint replica to replace my ACOG replica. I wanted to get both an L mount, for lower profile sights, and a cantilever/offset mount for higher profile sights. Then I came across this mount. WHOA. What a beauty. So after some careful consideration, I realized that $80 USD shipped for a silly little mount was just plain ridiculous.

A couple weeks later, I went ahead and ordered it. Smile

What a beauty she is. Heavy metal construction, designed for 30mm scopes and also includes a spacer to fit 25mm scopes. I don't recall if an allen wrench was included or not since I usually just use my own allen wrench set. There are six hex screws to support your scope.

Like I mentioned above, the reason I purchased this mount was that it was dead sexy. The fact that this mount uses a lever attach/release system was definitely an added bonus. This mount is the true meaning of quick detach. In fact, every scope mount should be so easy. It is designed to fit on picatinny RIS rails, such as those found on M4's. All you do is flip a lever if you want it locked in place on your RIS. Flip it back if you want to take the mount off. That's it. With other mounts, you usually need to screw/unscrew knobs which tighten/loosen the support rails. The lever system is quick and stays mounted onto the RIS rail as solid as a rock.

This is a great mount. I give it a 9/10 simply because of the price. Other than that, I can't find any faults in it.
