An essential part to anyones kit is a speedloader. Allowing fast reloads of your magazines, on or off the field. TM have had their pistol mag style loader out for ages, after becoming the prefered replacement for the old style loading rods.
G&P are one of the first companies to break the mould and try something different. By housing the same type of mechanism in a different body, it has opening up the market for indivdualism. G&P have used the MS2000 Strobe used by the US Military. I for one chose it as it was something a little bit different, and looked like it had purpose rather than just being another accessory.
It works the same way as TM's version, feeding 4 bb's at a time, with a capacity of some 130rnds, 15 more than the TM holds. The G&P unit can be loaded two way. Either by unscrewing the end cap or pulling the unit apart and loading from the side. The clear window in the side allow you to see how many it is currently holding.
To load a magazine, the IR shield is first opened to allow access to the feed nozzle. Fitted here is also an attachement to allow GBB mags to be filled easily. Having it under the IR shield means it wont get lost easily. Next the plunger is released via a small pull button. Having to pull this out rather than push it in means it is less likely to be accidentally activated. Having all this hidden mean bits are less likely to break off the unit. From then its simply a case of pumping the plunger to load the magazine.
The one downside to this unit is that if it isnt full it will rattle. For me this isnt a problem as I only reload at least 2 mags at a time, holding 100 each means no bb's are ever left. Its more like carrying an extra magazine than a loader, but is useful as it can be used to fill either and AEG or pistol magazine.
Great bit of kit that does the same as other manufacturers but looks that little bit different.

Looks fantastic, low profile, lightweight, could definitely fill out a genuine military loadout nicely
|
|
Cons:
|
Feeds terribly, plasticky, lightweight, plunger prone to flex
|

Honestly, I don't have a terrible lot to add to the above review, as it was quite comprehensive. I do have a couple niggles that I'd like to address, though.
My loader feeds terribly. At least one out of every 3 "pumps" of the plunger results in a headache-inducing jam that only a firm tap on a hard surface can fix. After using a cheap-o SRC transparent pistol mag loader (which performed infinitely better), I realized how inferior this loader is.
The plunger itself is quite weak. I've nearly broken it on several occasions due to the loader jamming whilst I -- unaware of the jam -- continued to push.
The loader's body, while accurate in appearance and color, is terribly plasticky. It has that "shine" that we've all seen on cheap springers and the like. A shame, considering the work that went into making this an accurate replica.
For your money, you'd be better off with any TM loader. That is, unless you're looking for a neat replica to hang from your vest; then, this'll do just fine. :D

Bulky.

I've had this speedloader for about six months now and I use it both for my MAG midcaps and my pistol Mags and it works great on both. I've never had a jam while using it. However it is bulkier then other speedloaders that hold around the same number of BB's.
------------------------------ They're endless possiblities for a sig on a forum... So how did I end up with this?

Looks good, perfect for refilling pistol mags
|
|
Cons:
|
quick to empty
|
|
PRO'S
-Looks brilliant
-People are strangely intrigued by it
-Perfect for filling pistol mags
-Pistol adaptor stored in base
-Reasonable capacity (about 100-120 bb's practically)
-Tough inners
-Easy to fill
-Very secure cap and filling port (it wont slide open and spill all the bb's during a game)
CON'S
-Fairly fragile outer shell (the OD bit, easily prised apart)
-Cant/very hard to release the plunger if you are wearing gloves (so take a glove off then!
-Occaisionally misfeeds (just give it a quick tap/shake if it does)
-Quick to empty (if filling many lo-caps)#
I only use it between games as I normally have enough ammo/mags on me to last an entire game. So for this its perfect. I can't comment on how it works when you have 4 guys all closing in on your position as you realise you have just fired your last bb.

G&P Distress Marker Style BB Loader
I bought this more for having a replica IR illumination and less for the bb loader aspect which worked out pretty well.
As far as being a bb loader I found this to be pretty useless. The amount of work it takes to open the shield, release the plunger and not to mention actually getting bb's into the loader makes this a less than useful piece of equipment.
On the other hand though as far as a replica goes for loadouts and especially helmets makes this a class a item.

Overall I say an 8, missing ten only because it's designed purpose is basically moot due to how it was put together.
