I purchased this battery for my ICS MP5A4. I went for the solid stock version for the primary reason of holding a large battery without the need for battery pouches etc to get in the way.
The ICS stock only takes a large 8.4v battery, but with 10mins of modding a 9.6v fits in there nice and snug. The one main feature of this particular combination is the insane rate of fire it produces. Speak to anyone with an 8.4v in an ICS MP5 and they will rave about the ROF, with a 9.6v its unbelievable.
Unfortunately, I dont tend to just hold the trigger down and hope I hit something, prefering to use semi. This battery handles that fine, giving consistent shot times, never struggling. A perfect support weapon battery, maybe I need to change the role of the MP5 to make use of that ROF.
This battery had no problem turning over the CA36 gearbox, which its smaller sibling couldnt do. I can only put this down to individual cell specifications and not a whole brand of batteries, as this one performs faultlessly.
