Brought to complement the M7 Tac Vest, as it was the same make so just thought it would be better to stick with one company rather than mix and match.
The choice of what belt comes down to what your using it for. The Tac vest functions fine without it, its more of a case of extra space to carry things like a dump pouch and drop leg items, rather than to hold the vest shut or hold trousers up etc.
Its a very sturdy belt, although when crouching this does have a tendancy to cut into you every now and again. The problem is though, if it wasn't sturdy, anything you attach to the belt would just fold it in two and damage the belt and cause a nuisance.
It comes with 4 metal retainers, that help to hold the belt together otherwise it would flare out and makes it difficult to attach items to. Its simple to adjust. The belt loops thru the buckle with a metal clasp on both of the free ends of the belt. By having them on the end of the belt, rahter than a single one on one end, like most belts you normally buy for trousers on the high street, there is nothing to flap around or get caught anywhere.
Overall this belt works fine with my vest. There may be other more padded belts with better adjustability on the market which for some may be better, for what I need and for £5, this suits me fine.
