What more can you ask for from a simple tube cover?
Not all hydration systems on the market have the armed forces in mind when. Some on the civilian market come with white tubes, which when you have spent all your money on camo, you dont want a white tube waving around!
Thats the job of this simple item, to cover your hydration tube so it blends in with the rest of your equipment. It also protects it from sharps, be it in CQB or foliage in Woodland, the last thing you want is you tube catching and being cut to shreds.
Although the tube on the J-Tech system is green, I got this just to complete to system and to protect the tube more than anything.
Another simple and effective item for a few quid!

I didnt actually purchase this separately as it came with a J Tech 3l hydration bladder bought from On Patrol for DT last year.
A simple idea, this nylon cover slides over the drinking tube of your hydration system, giving it a bit more protection.
It also allows you to have that bright electric blue or otherwise highly visible tube covered up, and let all that hard earned cash spent on the latest camo and buckets of face paint do its job !
An excellent, cheap piece of kit at a bargain price. Go buy one if you havent already. |
