Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Low shipping price, decent selection, nice videos
Negative aspects of the product (cons):	allow people to post laughable reviews for items.

I only bought some accessories from Shorty before,and the experience was pretty good though basic. Delivery time was standard, and they offer shipping discounts.

Their selection is ok, but lack TM products or high end guns such as WA GBBs. But they have a lot of cheaper things that a real airsofter don't bother with, but may be fun and cheap to plink with.

They also have a special relationship with Leapers (owner of UTG trademark), and get UTG products before other retailers.

I have never visited their walk-in store, so can't comment on that. The website is fairly simple and easy to navigate. The downside about their website is the customers' reviews system they have. A lot of those reviews I read there seemed to be written by amateur kids who didn't know what they were talking about. So read it with a grain (well, make that a box full) of salt. The interactive chat help box is pretty comical too.

They also make a lot of entertaining "semi-professionally" acted videos featuring various airsoft guns.

Shorty USA is a good place if you know what you are looking for. If you are new to airsoft, stay away. The reviews are almost always from teens or people new to airsoft who post simple comments like "THIS GUN ROXX" and no more. If you really want to know about a gun, I suggest calling in or going to the store. Their staff was very knowledgable about the gun I was interested and where I could get accessories.

When my UTG MP5 fell apart on me, it was no longer covered under warrenty, but they were able to get me into contact with Leapers, who coincidentally is located in the same city as me!

My one big big issue is they have no upgrade parts or accessories. If you want a spring, motor, pistons, etc. you have to look elsewhere.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Good shipping and a wide varity of products.
Negative aspects of the product (cons):	Overpriced on all "real" AEG's, non exsistant customer service and They don't always live up to their promotional deals.

I've made two orders with Shorty USA, one went fine the other didn't.

The first order I made I ordered a Springer Mp5 for my friend everything went fine and I didn't have a second thought about the order.

Then the UTG Mp5 came out and I decided to order it. I'd decided to use Shorty USA over Airsoft Atlanta, at the time both companies had the same promtional offer, A free Star real Cap at the same price. Based on my previous experiance I decided to use Shorty over Airsoft Atlanta, but when my package came the Star magazine was nowhere to be seen. So I sent an e-mail to the Shorty custmer serivce adress and never heard from them again.

I've also noticed through comparison shopping that they tend to be over priced on many TM and CA AEG's.

First off, Shorty USA is for people new to airsoft. Their prices on springers are good and they have a huge selection of them. HOWEVER, their prices on everything eles are insanely high. Extra mags are 30 to 40 USD (for springers) and 50 and up for AEGs. They make their money on things like clothing, scopes, mounts, batteries, chargers, and all the other little goodies.

AEGs- don't bother. 350 USD for a gun that should be under 300. The prices on stuff for the expirianced airsofter are way too high. Gas guns average out at about $150. not too bad.

New guys stay away from this site. Reviews are (as said before) by people who "saw dis gun in action at my frindz house an it wuz krazy!!!" or by people who think it looks sweet so it must be good. Oh yeah and they allways say the gun is "real acurite."
Shorty has some really crappy guns out their too. Please don't buy anything which says "NO RETURNS" in red letters. That's an in dication that it's trigger will break the day after- maybe even the day before- you get it.

But it is fun to watch the videos they have. If you can get them to work. Seriously. Get some friends, make some popcorn, and watch the videos. They're soooo over dramatic. It's great... really very entertaining.
