First Impressions
Walk In Store- When I first walked in the store, I was amazed at the selection of weapons, accessories, and gear. I was welcomed instantly by the man behind the counter (Craig). Gamepod is very VERY honest, which makes me feel good, so I know I'm not being ripped off.
Website- When I saw the website, I was dissapointed. The site looks very badly made, and doesn't offer everything they have in thier store.
Prices
Prices are very good, but it's still airsoft, which means its still expensive. :P
I reccomend Gamepod to anyone and everyone.

Gamepod is the closest airsoft store to my location. That being two hours away...
I have never been in their walk-in store but I have ordered from them a few times. Whenever I had a question via E-mail it was answer very quickly. Within two hours at the most. Even on weekends! The owner Craig is a great guy. He is honest with you to the letter. If you need a part that they do not have, they will have in a week at the most. Their technical staff are very knowledgeable and are no chairsofters either. Every month several guys from Gamepod come down to Modesto Airsoft and sponsors the event.
I just recently order a Marushin Mossberg 500 Shorty from them. Yes they actually had one instock! I email them and asked whether they had any 8mm BBs instock. They answer they had one bag left and said they would hold it for me. The next day I called in my order. I talked with Craig for a good amount of time. He said if there was anything I needed that wasn't on the website, I should just give them a ring and ask.
I ordered in the evening and the next morning I had a shipping confirmation. Very fast. The shipping was fairly cheap too.
They do have several downsides though. Their website could use some work. Their selection online does not cover everything that they carry in store. Also their prices are a little higher than most other retailers. I find that their excellent service is well worth the few extra dollars.
Overall they are the best shop I have ever used. Great people, great service!

Gamepod is quite possibly the only retailer in the Northern California region that can compete with the 800 pound Gorilla in California, Airsoftextreme. Having physically been to both stores, I can honestly say that the staff at Gamepod was more helpful than AEX (though I have heard conflicting reports with regards to the quality of customer service from both stores). The upgrade I got there was top notch, they revived my gun and made it better, and the best part was, by a stroke of luck the tech that worked on my gun was working there! He told me all about different upgrades and options, some advice were sound and some were... oh well! I think the best part about their store (besides from their dune buggy w/ the SAW hanging off it??) is the prices of their products are the same for both their on-line and walk-in stores, unlike AEX which charges 10 bucks more if you choose to buy it in store (that's a bag of ammo). I still like AEX, because they were the "OG" big retailer in California, but I'm liking Gamepod more by the day.
P.S.: Forgot to mention, one gripe I do have about Gamepod is that their tac-gear section's a bit over priced... many of the vests and pouches that they carry can be found of cheaperthandirt.com, and other types of gear are not made of the best quality. That being said, they are still a great store.
