Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nice displays in stock. Seem to have large variety of parts.
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Crowded shop, always being 'watched'

Postage

All orders over £100 or 1.5kg, that are destined for an address in the UK are sent by courier at around £9.50 for next day delivery although this can vary somewhat. All UK orders that are under 1.5kg are sent by recorded delivery and once again the price varies but they say will be no more that £9.50. Their online website seems to have no way of calculating postage and so you are contacted before the order is prosessed. Whether or not this saves or costs you money I wouldnt like to say.

Prices

Maybe you pay a premium because they are situated in London. Every now and again they run offers and deals but I have yet to find another mainstream store that charges more. Maybe if they had less people standing around there they could cut the prices.

Customer Service

Once again I am not sure if this is just because the shop in London, but I wasnt too pleased about having to take off my coat and bag etc just to walk out the back. They arent items I particulary want to leave lying around for someone else to pick up. I can understand if a group of lads come in but I hardly reckon my gf and I look like thieves. Its not like there is no one out the back at all, and regardless they seem to watch you like an eagle circling its prey. Everything seems to be caged up and out of reach, it hardly seems worth having a shop. While they seem keen to help, the chap I spoke to seemed to know less than I did, which didnt help.

Product Range

They seem to have a full range of stock, its just a shame you cant really pick it up and easily look at it. I also found the shop slightly disorganised, with boxes strewn everywhere and the Clothing/Gear was way overcrowded.

Overall

In the end I just brought and OD cap, and in the end that had a wonky peak. What more can I say. Plenty of room for improvement. Its a good job the shop isnt particulary close to me but all the trouble I went to find it I came away feeling disappointed.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): none
Negative aspects of the product (cons): overpriced and unfriendly

After coming back from Japan, I was keen to check out a UK airsoft shop with my mate who wanted to find out more about airsoft after I kept going on about it. We both happened in Camden on the same day so I though we should go to Wolf and buy some gas for my hi-capas and check out some stuff to encourage my mate. Oh dear.

I agree with most of what has been said above, but I’d go much further. Wolf is one of the most unfriendly and overpriced shops I've ever been to. I resent being treated like a criminal when you're meant to be treated like a customer.

Since most things are in cages you need to ask the workers to open them up so you can inspect stuff. Now I don’t know about you but I thought sales assistants are meant to help you and encourage you to check stuff out, but the guy I asked acted like a grumpy teenager because I’d dragged him away from his computer. As I was asking him questions about the stuff it seemed like the whole thing was an annoyance to him. When my mate asked if he could hold one of the Star UMGs they had the assistant told him not to break it, for kids that’s fair enough but not for a couple of guys in their late 20s.

I did buy some gas they had on a 3 for 2 offer but I could have found a much better deal on the Internet, but I needed it the next day so I couldn’t wait. I noticed almost all of their products were expensive and advised my mate not to buy from them.

Very poor.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Kit is cheaper than on the website.
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Serving time takes so long even on a non busy day, not really helpful at all.

I decided to head into Camden with my girlfriend on saturday and after she done her usual shop around getting new stuff i decided to go down to wolfs.

Now the 1st thing you'd notice is security, it isnt like a normal shop where you push the door and go in, no you have to push a buzzer and the person behind the counter will open the door.

1st impressions: the shop was a little over crowded, Tac gear and equipment was strewn all over the place, it was that difficult to find 2 P90 mag pouches, but i found them (eventually).

The showroom where the rifles are, is round the back of the shop, here's the bad side.

The shop is unorganised, being the assault rifles are mixed with the shottys, snipers mixed in with gas rifles etc etc.

I bought 2 Mag pouches and a bottle of BB's, needless to say the customer service is average, so after waiting for an hour to get served i finally walked out with my purchases.

All in all, if you have time to waste, money to spend and all, then wolfs is a good place to go.

The teenager behind the counter is not helpful, he will not help in any situation and acts like a little kid being dragged away from the computer.
Although i hope they update there map on there website.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good choice of stock, nice showroom,
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Not the best staff in the world, not very personal

Purchase - TM G36C with Tightened Barrel and FPS Upgrade.
Bought from - Wolf Armouries
Cost - Including Knee Pads, Elbow Pads, 2 x large battery, 2 x hi-cap clip, face mask, charger, 3k BB's, silicon spray, battery sling, and P&P = £550.

The shop - Nice looking store, lots of gear and very well presented. The staf are more than happy for you to hold the goods to help make up your mind and will take items out of packaging whereever possible. The staff themselves were 50/50, half knew their stuff and were willing to help whilst the other half either didn't know much about anything or were unwilling to be helpful. Didn't quite get the 'so your wanting to spend over £500 with us, we'll be nice to you' feel that I was hopeing for but then I guess that much money isn't that big a deal to them. Seeing as it was their re-stock day I will give them some leyway on it. One big warning: do not expect their website to be as clear with regards to pricing as you would wish. The £125 I thought I was going to pay for my power upgrade (based on the line "Full internal upgrade (£125, inclusive of engineer's fee)" on their website) turned out to be inaccurate and the whole thing was more like £150. Still you can haggle with them if your getting lots of extras as well as the gun.Was kept relativly in the loop over how my order was doing with them being fine to accept phone calls from myself over how long it would be till my damn shootter turned up. When they finally did ship it they apologised to my profusley for not having the Elbow pads I had ordered in stock. I told them that was fine as I had already taken the pads, mask, and sling home with me so missed out the chance to rip them for £75ish of kit. Delivery - All the gear (other than one hi-cap mag) turned up safe about 2 days ahead of the original 14 day estimation. Nothing was even slightly damaged from the delivery due to the mountains of packing material they put around it all. This included the original insides of my now upgraded gun. One quick phone call to Wolf and my 2nd clip turned up the next day, with the person who left it out of the order getting a stern "you muppet!" across the store.

The Gun - Damn this thing feels gooood, smells nice out of the packaging as well. Good build quality, clear instuctions, and after a bit of light plinking in my room and back garden I was VERY happy wih my choice. Only slight downside is that there is no catch on the cocking mechanism and the hop-up is a little tricky to get to. Your either going to need three hands to adjust it with ease or a bit of sticky tape to hold the cocking handle back. Also the BBs that come with the gun are a distubring minty green, not a big issue unless you get worried by firing mints at people.
Got a bit worried when about 12 BBs got jammed in the barrel whilst I was trying to zero it on a range but that was soon solved with some liberal voiding of my warrenty and its not happened since after some liberal application of silicon spray.
Was a little disappointed on my first day of skirmishing to find out that it Chroned in at around 315FPS rathe than the 328FPS I had expected and I'm not too conviced about the value of the Tightened Barrel but other than that all is fine. The Battery sling is a good send for nice and easy battery change giving me about a 30 seconds quicker change than anyone having to open up their gun to change the batteries. Time will tell on how well the gun holds up in the long run but so far all is good. It was described as "sexy" and "the nuts" by many of the people on site so the pose factor was nice and high.

Overall - not sure if the price was the best it could be but I don't think it was the worst. Wolf staff can be a bit hit & miss but if your patient you can get what you want and the help that you need. The gun itself is great to this nooby and I would heartily advise it to anyone else who is after a G36.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nice show room.
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Not entirely helpful for newbies.

I went to Wolf Armouries because I was in the vague area. Ok, so I was in London. At the time I was fairly new to the sport, and my armoury consisted of one AEG.

I went into the shop hoping to buy a pistol, or at least get a good idea of what i wanted. When I entered the show room, I was very impressed, it was very proffesional looking.

I approached one of the staff members and, after waiting about 15 minutes, told him that I was looking for a pistol but didn't have much of a clue as to what type. All I knew, was that I despised Glocks, anything but a Glock, Glocks are ugly etc. Upon hearing this, he nodded to me, and said "How about this?", handing me a Glock 18c. I told him that I really didn't want a Glock, upon which handed me a some other Glock. I just told him that I'd have a look around and left him in his happy Glock obsessed world.

As I walked around the shop (slightly miffed at not being any closer to getting a pistol), I noticed that I couldn't see any guns that were entirely stock. Every single item in on display had either a scope, laser, grip, or some other aftermarket furniture. Perhaps I'm being picky, but I think that they should present most of the guns "as they come", and not as they are after you've spent an extra £100.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, I also had difficulty getting seen by the staff. I would have left with at least some BBs, but got fed up of waiting.

Overall, I felt that they weren't really that bothered about what I wanted, so I really don't rate them very highly. A couple of my friends have also had similarly disappointing experiences with inattentive staff who didn't really pay much attention to what they were saying.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): None whatsoever
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Expensive, slow shipping, pathetic customer service...they dont have a clue

Purchased: KSC M11a1, 2 extra long mags, shoulder sling, 3 bottles of Predator gas, bottle of White Devil BBs.

Gun arrived after 5 days. 2 spare mags they sent were Glock longs rather than M11 longs. Back they went. Took 11 days to get the replacements as they wouldnt send out the correct ones until I had returned the Glocks. I of course paid for the postage, Special Delivery, so it took them at least 7 days to bother to find the replacements and send them back on normal 1st class.

Went to a skirmish, one of the mags out-valves is leaking. Sent it back, my cost again. Told them I needed it back in 12 days for another skirmish.

Mag turned up 3 days late. Still blowing through. Sent back, once again my cost, told them I needed it for another skirmish 10 days later. Called on the Wednesday before the game to ask if it was done. It wasnt.

Turned up 2 days late.

I wouldnt buy again from these incompetent clowns if they were the last retailer on earth...Id give up airsofting rather than give them any more of my money.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): good selection to get to grips with
Negative aspects of the product (cons): warrenty, hawk eyed sales staff, sales staff with pistols in holsters(WHY)

I arrived in store just to have a look around on my first visit. Even though I let the sales member that I would not be buying anything he was still very helpful(I think it was the manager, and he seems to be the only decent member of staff)and let me tryout alot of different models.

Went away with a bit of an idea about what I wanted but thought I would rent for my first game. I couldnt wait though and went back to puchase an MP7 and a few extras.

Again the manager helped me out with the weapons and I eventually went for the MP7 as I had planned.

Bought the weapon spare battery and high cap mag.
Went to a couple of games and my high caps weren't workin well. They tested them and seemed to solve the problem but at the next game the mags still refused to work(luckily I had 6 50rnd low caps by now).

I won't be going back to solve my mag problems because I'm pretty sure that they won't do anything.

All in all its not that bad a shop, I never deault with any of the gun-tootin "kids" so I had a pretty decent customer service apart from the 1 month warrenty which I feel is at least 5months short of apporiate.

They are alittle over priced but for alot of there stock its about average prices.

If they changed their warrenty then I would shop again, til then I'll go elsewhere.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): none
Negative aspects of the product (cons): too many to list

After spending a lot of money there for over 5 months, I decided to get a Glock 18c and spare mag.I really only got it for looks as I use my Mac11 as a back up, and only ran about 10 or so mags thru' the Glock before it broke. As It was over the 1 month warranty (by a couple of months) they refused to replace it, swap it for another Mac (even with no warranty on that!)or do anything helpful to say the least. Oh, they did offer to fix it for a tenner. But didn't have the part. Then indirectly accused me of lying about my usage of the weapon.
Aside from pretty much most of the above- poor service, inflated prices etc, I have managed shops for over 12 years and have NEVER come across such a poor example of customer service and an amazing display of how NOT to run a business.
Unfortunately they will probably last a long time because there are so many people out there who don't know how to shop around...I say vote with your feet and send a message.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good selection on display - that's all
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Unhelpful and unfriendly staff, Terrible Warranty, Overpriced

I've dropped into this shop twice as it's only a short bus ride from my office and both occasions were "emergency" trips to pick up BB's and then Gas.

The Wolf Armouries "Experience"

Trip #1

The first time I dropped in was over the summer and I was particularly struck by how ridiculously cramped and busy it was in there. It took an age to get served and the first two staff were unable to answer my questions about batteries. The guy by the computer actually refused to help me and said I should speak to someone else there. Nice.

Trip #2
The second trip was an equally unpleasant experience. During my lunch hour, I had planned to make a quick trip to pick up gas for my pistol - they had a 3 for 2 offer which at their prices was ok. On entering the shop you realise that you don't ever feel like you're a welcome customer but a foreigner invading their personal space. In a rush, I made a B-line for the "armoury" and was stopped by another staff member who demanded that I remove my jacket (a thin Diesel jacket) which is more risky for me than it is for them as I had to remove my Blackberry, mobile phone and other valuables and carry them in my hands. Considering I was the only customer, and there seemed to be an endless number of staff, I thought this was overkill particularly as the gas was easily reachable from the doorway. I too, as the reviewer above, was shocked to see staff walking around the armoury with pistols in holsters. Is that really neccessary?

Overall

Items I've seen on their website and the shop are way overpriced. Being a shop based in London is a bad excuse and clearly they have a walk-in monopoly in this city. Any well advised airsofters will probably do best to avoid this place and shop around elsewhere. 1 Month Warranty!? Ridiculous. The staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming and it's not a great experience. I've not met one person who can recommend this shop.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good showroom
Negative aspects of the product (cons): Overpriced, rubbish warrenty, mental security, always watched by staff

When I was just getting into airsoft, my brother told me about this shop in Camden. Excited that I could actually feel and hold the airsoft guns rather than look at them on the internet seemed like it would help me with my decision about which shotgun I wanted to buy.

We went in after the buzzer, and the front half of the shop is just filled with gear, and a guy behind the counter on a computer. We took our bags off and went to the showroom. At the time, I was amazed. There were so many AEGs on racks, and pistols behind the glass counter.

Now, I must explain here that I was here to hold different shotguns (SPAS 12, M3, M3 shorty), to see what to buy from Redwolf, and my brother was here to see what he could do to upgrade his TM P226.

Though we had to wait a while for someone to help us, he seemed like a no-nonsense guy. So I told him that I wanted to buy a TM shotgun, and want to hold them to see which would be the best for me. He said that at my height and reach, the M3 was out of the question for skirmishing, and the real question was 'Do I want something smaller and more manouverable, or something bigger which looked like a beast?'(or something along those lines). I held them both, and in my head, I had chosen the SPAS 12. After I told him, he just wandered away. But never mind, he served his purpose.

Then, it was time to serve my brother. The guy behind the pistol counter talked to him about metal bodies and gas and recoil and all the rest of it, and showed him a P226 Prime metal kit. Priced at £315. Oh dear. He talked about how it was laser cut aluminium, and to be fair, he did tell us that a lot of filing had to be done, and that the shop could do it for a fee. Somehow he convinced my brother to buy it.

My brother payed by card, and this took about 15 minutes for what should have taken about 3 minutes. The guy in the front part of the shop, on the computer, didn't like to be disturbed.

In conclusion, the staff (at least the guy I talked to) seem decent if you tell him what you're looking for. But don't touch the weapons in racks. The guy behind the pistol counter actually ground his teeth when I touched the AK47 'wood' furniture.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fast Delivery, Quick contact.
Negative aspects of the product (cons): maybe stock and prices.

Alot of people seem to slate wolf armouries on here. so heres my experience.

The website is one of the easiest to navigate. Everything is easy to find and easy to look at. One of the best sites iv seen.

Because of this i decided to order frm them. The way i see it is that they have a very professonal looking site, so i hoped that the business was run professionly. Anyway i ordered a TM MP7A1 hi-cap mag, a G&P aimpoint and voltage transformer. I placed the order around 8 in the evening, and the next morning i got a vry polite fone call letting me know the aimpoint was out of stock, and would i like to cancel the order, or have them send the other items.

Now in the past with other sites, when an item is out of stock they usually don't tell you, they just hold ur order till its all in stock. I told them to cancel the aimpoint, but send the rest of the stuff. It was with me 9am the very next morning. Does it get any better than that?

Now i accept that some of there products are more expensive than other shops, but only by a few pound, and i'd happily pay that for a professional service which i received.

Overall i was very impressed. Its one of the only places other than AA that seems to be run as a business and not as a hobby by the owners.

Negative aspects of the product (cons): next day delivery turned out to be 2 days after order

Positive aspects of the product (pros): none that i can think of.
Negative aspects of the product (cons): easier to get into the pentagon. the staff. chaos.

about a year ago i dragged my other half to wolf. after spending a large amount of time on the website, i expected the proverbial alladins cave of goods. Not to be. now bear in mind I'm late, late thirtys and as a bit of and old fart expect a few things in customr service, boy was i sorely disapointed. after removing anything they deemed to be possibly dangerous, offensive, unconstutional, which I might add did please the othr half who didn't want to be there in the first place, we were allowed into the inner sanctum.
Disapointment is now being heaped upon me.

Its bloody tiny. I'm being ignored. Any attempts to make eye contact are being heroicly resisted apart from the adolescent hard wired into the computer.

he just looks up now and again to scowl at me.

finally i manage to capture another adolescent, who after a few minutes speaking to him, i discover he knows less than me.

rapid exit from store to collect personal belongings and to buy a desert patrol hat from a some what aggrieved young lady who seemed to take it as a personal affront to serve me.

ladies and gentelment, I give you wolf armouries.
