Positive aspects of the product (pros):
|
Good "glowing" properties - especially on the green BBs, better priced than the Marui Tracer BBs
|
|
Cons:
|
Not the correct dimensions leading to BBs falling out of the barrel in some GBBs

TRACER BBs!!! What Fun!
Excel are now making Tracer BBs in both Green and Orange. The Green BBs hold their light-charge far better, but the Orange ones are more realistic (real-steel tracer rounds are a red/orange colour).
The BBs do what they are supposed to, holding a light-charge supplied by the Tracer Unit, and creating an illuminated "streak" from gun to target.
I have however, had a lot of problems with Excel 0.20g BBs (link) and these Tracer BBs suffer from the same short-falls.
However, as they are cheaper than the competition (from Marui), I rate them reasonably highly, especially for AEG use.
The BBs are of pretty good quality, but they do stink a bit (weird, but true). They grip the HOP-UP rubber just fine and are as accurate as you would want for skirmishing. But that's not why you buy Tracer BBs is it
The Green BBs hold the light-charge (provided by the Tracer Unit) VERY well. They create an excellent "streak" through the air and scare the *$!@£ out of the opposition better than a rabid dog on Speed. The Orange Tracer BBs don't hold their light-charge as well though (due to Green being the most efficient colour for low-light visibility), but they are still fun to use in REALLY low light conditions.
Whether these BBs are bio-degradable as the package claims is yet to be proven (Excel have a history of claiming their BBs are bio-degradable when they aren't), but they are certainly fun.
Overall, these BBs get an 8 out of 10 score from me. Cheaper than the competition and they do what the packaging says. Shame they keep falling out of the barrel of my Tracer-Enabled Desert Eagle really.
