Special Protective Eyewear Cylindrical System

These are the current issue glasses for the US ARMY so I figured that they gotta be good for airsoft. The package contains frames with a set of two lenses, one clear and one tinted, a retainer strap, cable temples and the carry case. The glasses themselves are nothing to spectacular � they do offer full adjustment on the arms and nose piece. The lenses are military grade and will stop a 15-caliber pellet, at 650 feet per second � which will defiantly stop a BB. The thing I like most about these glasses is the case � its OD green and has ALACE clips to attach to basically anything. This solves the ongoing problem in airsoft of where to store you safety glasses, the case can store spare lenses as well as stopping them from getting scratched to crap. I have looked long and hard for the best solution for eye protection for airsoft and I believe that this is it.

I just picked up a pair from my cousin straight out of iraq. They were unopened. I've yet to skirmish with them, but from what I can tell they're really comfortable and provide a lot more protection than the regular shooting glasses I was wearing before.

It's too bad these are hard to come by as these glasses are very comfortable and offer a huge amount of balastic protection. Mine survived a straightshot, point blank of my 450 FPS w/ .30g SWS and didnt even leave a scratch, much less a bulge. If you're lucky enough to have a pair, hold onto them, as their the best shooting glasses I've ever seen.
