Positive aspects of the product (pros):
|
Shoots good.Has right ak furniture
|
|
Cons:
|
Rear sight base made out of plastic. No scope rail rail
|
|
Initial impressions:
When I first recived it I was greated by a wonderful looking rifle. But whats that a ugly nail polish type paint on the flash hider which was easily solved with some Krylon Flat Black paint.Next I saw the Arsenal trademarks which I have no problem with as I own a real Arsenal SLR-105A1.The gun is almost all metal except the rear sight block.
Enhanced review:
I ordeed r this rifle from Blade3000 with a battery and charger and was my very first AEG.I paid $355.00 with shipping and battery. The front sight also showed no sign’s of wobble which was a worry after dealing with the TM AK. The fit and finish of the CA slr-105a1 if pretty clean and yes there are mold marks on the stock and fore grip but there are mold marks on real steel polymer stocks as well so it is nothing to get up in arms about. The battery comes out of the stock by unscrewing the butt plate. It alos does not have the problem of sling swivels fro mbraking off.
Pros:
Has the right style of AK type furnitue.
Includes a 500rnd hi cap magzine.
Shoots 320fps out of the box.
Has Arsenal Trademarks.A con for some others.
Compatible with all Mauri type parts and accesories.
Cons:
No scope rail.
Flash hider is painted with a black nail polish paint.
Rear sight gas block is made out of plastic.
Selector switch can become unlose.

Simple review here
The good-
It is a great gun. Definetly recommend for rookies and "pros" as well. Has great 500/600 round high caps. Very good rate of fire- suprisingly high- higher than any other AEG I have used. Good sound especially when comparing to the ICS equivalent. Very good accuracy as well and good range especially considering the fps compared to upgraded. I must sat having used both the last time I went the person who one the ICS and I agreed the CA was better.
The Bad
Not much
I don't believe the CA has the same rail as the ICS so it is easier to attach scopes to the ICS (not certain)
Had one problem with it- The sling holder thingy, broke of- not of the gun but the ring part on the back ripped of so the sling came of. However this was easily fixed- simple use of plyers and screw drivers and it working in a jiffy.
250£ price tag - If you don't have enough- I recommend paying the extra over the TM 47 and the ICS 74
Overall I give this gun a rating of "uberpwnage"
