Knee pads aren't exactly a standard purchase for airsofters but if you've ever had to crawl around at a skirmish you're probably aware it's damn uncomfortable. Which decent kneepads it's almost unnoticable and these might have been the comfiest I have ever worn.
With a half centimeter plastic cap on half an inch of Cordura nylon covered these are built like a brick outhose. The plastic cap is rock solid and it's very firmly secured with non reflective plastic grommets. Whilst moving around on my knees these pads were extremely comfortable.
My main issue with the pads is that they are not very forgiving if you're pretty thin, you will end up with only an inch or so of velcro contact on the straps which is not enough to keep the pads secure. I frequently found that a strap had come undone throughout skirmishing.
A smaller minor issue is that the black fabric on the inside of the pad is a bit of a vegitation magnet. All kinds of crud will end up clinging to them, something which doesn't happen to the nylon front.
Although a bit costly these are incredibly tough kneepads, they should last you a very long time.
