Issue kit for the price of repro gear.
I picked the SDS I-RACK chest rig up almost a year ago and it was by far one of the best pieces of gear I have purchased to date. After much deliberating and searching for a light comfortable rig to replace the OE Tech copy of the ARKTIS classic chest rig I had been using.
I decided to purchase the SDS I-RACK from the great folks over at http://www.supplycaptain.com, one of the main reasons I decided to do business with Supply Captain was they were the only site I had found that carries this rig in Coyote Brown and it came with the Harness upgrade, if I had purchased the chest rig and the harness upgrade separately I would easily have paid twenty dollars or more than I did.
When the chest rig arrived it looked better than the picture's I had seen online. It was a nice rich Coyote Brown and not Dessert Tan like a lot of so called Coyote Brown gear being sold. The biggest downfall was the Black snap buttons and the Black Quick release buckles. I would have preferred if they had used Coyote Brown Buckles like the Spec-Ops brand X-System pouches.
The I-RACK has seven rows of PALS webbing with the bib up and four rows with the bib folded down and under the chest rig. The PALS webbing goes back toward the kidneys on both sides providing plenty of real estate for pouches and the like.
Inside of the bib there is a mesh map pocket as well as two inner mesh pockets on each of the lower sides.
One key feature is the side entry zipper for easier donning and doffing of the rig as well as two large quick release buckles on the shoulder straps. With the addition of the Harness upgrade there is an added area for attaching pouches onto the shoulder area as well as added comfort from closed cell padding and a large reinforced drag handle on the rear of the harness strap. The SDS I-RACK is adjustable to fit smaller or larger airsofters and should work well over body armor and Flak Jackets.
All in all I give the SDS Super I-RACK a 9 out of 10 for price, comfort, and build quality.------------------------------ KWP's response when a REAL Marine mentioned that airsofters care too much about the shade of Coyote Brown there gear is: "I do care and always will as an Airsofter." And that is why Airsoft is looked at as a joke by so many people because of retarted comments like that. It is a hobby and brown is freaking brown.
