I bought this gun because i'd heard it was supposed to be a copy of the UTG Master Sniper but with a better hop-up unit (BAX system) for less money. When I rececived the gun I was quite impressed but I knew before buying it that I was going to attempt the famous Teflon Modification as well as purchasing a tightbore barrel for it (http://www.deescustoms.com/) before it would be an effective skirmish weapon. I had also planned to spray it with Krylon green camo paint before posting this review but funds have run out at the moment so no more waiting.
The gun comes with loads of stuff such as a speed loader, sling, BB's (dont use these though!) and some additional butt plates. There is a also a RIS rail under the barrel. Putting the rifle together didnt take very long and felt quite solid and lightwieght for a cheap rifle.
I had ordered some weaver scope mounts, a blackhawk sniper cheek rest, a king arms spring return bipod and mounted my 3-12x40 scope to the setup. I then attempted the teflon mod which turned out to be quite effective (dont bother with tape around the cylinder, as it just falls off). When testing the rifle out in a skirmish I found it very powerful and it required me to use 0.28/0.3g BB's as the teflon mod had pushed the power quite high and 0.2g BB's would just fly upwards into space (literally)
Anyway if your willing to do the teflon mod and invest in a tightbore barrel (my next purchase) then this is deffintley a serious skirmish weapon, in stock form its best suited for plinking in the back garden. Overall I would recommend this gun and I have given it a 9/10 but this score is only if your willing to put some work into it, otherwise a TM G-Spec would be a better stock rifle

Very solid, nice feel to it....smooth bolt action

Some of the extras are pathetic...read below.

The barrel/trigger etc part is very good, with a nice weight to it, however, the sling and forward sling mount which comes with this is one of the worst I have ever seen.
I attached the sling to the hooks, and attempted to pick the gun up by the sling. I say attempted because the sling broke before I had even lifted the barrel off the ground.
I then attached my own sling, hoping that the problem would be sorted, but no...the front sling mount broke when I put the gun over my shoulder. Not impressed.
In my opinion, this gun is an excellent gun for beginners (like me) just to have a bit of fun with, the only real let-down is the appauling sling mount.
(Hmm...maybe I got a 'lemon'...)
