Positive aspects of the product (pros): Does not widen the magazine, keeps the same width profiel, look cool and is more secure than the generic magpul
Cons: Decreases the surface area of the"winder" and actually makes winding the hicap more inefficient

I'll keep this review short. Installation shouldn't take more than 5 minutes max per mag and the instructions are quite good. They install very easily on Hi-caps and Mid-caps (well, easy on the G&P and STAR ones I have).

These things are actually quite nice. Since I put the original magpuls on my low caps, I have been waiting for something like this to come along. However, now that the moment has arrived I have to admit that I am a bit let down. Whilst these are great in they make pulling the magazine out easier, I find they make winding a hi-cap a lot harder than if they were not there in the first place. It decreases the surface area on which your finger can rub against the winding mechanism.

Would have given this a higher score and while they are great for mid-caps , they aren't as great for their original purpose.

** To update the reviewer below, these are not the Ranger Magpuls that you want to use on TM Standards. Use the standard Ranger Magpuls for that.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Look good.
Cons: Hard to wind and limited fitment.

They do not fit TM locaps due to there being no point to screw into.

When installed on TM hicaps they are hard to wind with gloves on. The end result being a hole worn within several mags through the finger on my Hatch Operator gloves.

I'm sure on G&P midcaps they'd be fine.
