Description:
|
The ATC-3B1 Fire Control System (ATC-3B1 or 3B1) is a small (approx. 30mm x 15mm x 13mm) box that, when plugged into an AEG, converts fully automatic fire into burst fire. This gives greater realism to AEGs that otherwise lack the burst capabilities of their real steel counterparts.

Well when I fist saw these I must say I was a little skeptical, I mean it sounded too good to be true, 3rnd burst by simply plugging into the battery. Well I’m not one to miss an opportunity, so I jumped online and went to the site where it all happens.

Ordering is piss simple, you choose the type of connector (3 to choose from, Tamiya big, standard small, and deans). Well I was after a large to large for my MP5A4 – so you make your selection, input your shipping addy and pay via paypal. It all standard stuff really, after paying I go sit outside my mailbox and wait patiently for the courier. I must say I have never purchased anything from NZ using the internet so I was a little surprised when the package arrived 48 hours after ordering.
Installing this thing couldn’t be simpler. You plug one end into the connecter found on the gun – in this case inside the stock of my mp5 and the battery into the other end. Let me just say that this thing is tiny so your not ganna have problems fitting it in there. There is a very small switch built into the unit that allows you to turn the 3rnd burst on and off without unplugging everything (a great idea).
Now the moment off truth, does the product deliver. 1st I fire on semi auto, bang, bang! No worries there. Then I flick the selector to auto position and voila, I have 3rnd burst! Awesome!
This is a great product no doubt about it. I tend to use midcap when I play CQB so you have to watch your trigger finger during those heated firefights as changing mags in the middle is a good way of getting eliminated. I have always thought it would be nice to have 3rnd burst on my mp5 and now I do! Good job Air-tronics.
