Introduction-
I ordered my SL8 off affordableairsoft.com. It came in 3 days with standard ground shipping. I was skeptical about this gun but when i recieved boy was i suprised. I saw the gun neatly tucked in in a GINORMOUS box. If you think this the size of an M4 ur wrong, very wrong. This is at least 3\4 times the size of an M4 (with included silencer on). With silencer the gun is 36 inches long. I prefer it without the silencer since it is shorter and better for CQB.
Externals-
Well cant say to much for this. Unfortunately it is almost all plastic. Dont get me wrong, this can take some beating, but i dont suggest throwing it on the ground. When you first pick up the gun it is at least 11 pounds. I still wonder how it can weigh this much with alot of plastic. Its not really plastic, but its a mix with polymer. 7/10
Performance-
This is where the gun exceeds in. This is a frickin sniper. This gun can seriously go about 150 feet and still be effective. Dont have a chrono but it can shoot through both sides of a coke can at close range. The accuracy is amazing. If you put your sights on something, it will hit it. Pure and simple. This gun has no hop up, but a power adjuster. It does exactly what it says, adjusts the power.
Conclusion- All in all, if your a begginer-intermediate airsofter, you will not be dissapointed. Dont expect to be getting some CA but this can come up to par with a TM.
