RSOV is a Hong Kong retailer specializing in the ACM (All Chinese Made). I found them while researching Gunner Airsoft on Arnie's website, as being a good alternative to Gunners since he got so busy.

I'm not into the Chinese Clones, but I found it interesting how RSOV was communicating they would also get stuff for you from other Hong Kong retailers on top of their own product line. I decided to test them out on this.

I've been wanting to get custom AK SOPMOD Bolt and Selector from GWS (Gunsworkshop) (These are the same guys who made the original XM8/G36 conversion kits), but their website isn't very order friendly and it seems they only want to deal with quantity or high priced sales.

So I shot off an email to RSOV, to see if he could source the product an a few hours later I got the reply, with price including shipping and the fact that RSOV (Keith) would go and p/u up the part the next day. The price was more then fair, so I agreed and he didn't even ask for money up front. Next day I get and email with a picture of the part(s) and a confirmation of price. I immediately paypal'd the funds and 2 days later, received the parts here in the U.S.! Out-f-ing-standing service! With this type of effort I can see RSOV (Keith) becoming a huge success soon. I just hope he doesn't get too busy to provide this level of service.

Now his website is still a little "raw", but I'm sure that will improve as his business grows. For U.S. based customers, in the lower left of the website, you will find a drop down to select to view pricing in U.S. Dollars. RSOV did quote me in British Pounds though, but I just used Paypal to make that conversion.

Negative aspects of the product (cons):	Could do with a bigger selection of guns and accessories.

I have never bought from an overseas retailer, so was a bit worried about problems with shipping and if i did not like what i recieved.

So i decided to email RSOV and despite the time difference, recieved a reply very sharpish! After chatting to them for a while, i was 99% possitive with what i was buying.

I had some trouble with the power of this rifle being to "hot" for my local airsoft site, so they even offerd changing the spring for me to get a lower fps.

I was told that my item would take 2-3 days to dispatch, and 7 working days for shipping. I was very very pleased to find out that i actually recieved my Sniper rifle 4 working days!!

Once i got my gun and put it together, it was shooting perfectly, and was soo pleased. I then had a little trouble with the bipod not being able to fold the legs in and out, so i emailed them, got an instant reply but still couldnt fix it, so they offerd to send me out another bipod free of charge! what other retailer would do that!? I managed to fix my bipod and told them that i wouldnt need the replacement but thanks anyway!

Overall i would reccomend these guys to anyone! and i am already thinking of trying one of their aeg's!

10/10 no hesitations!

Firstly I would like to thank Keith and Davidson for their absolutely amazing customer support!

On to the review,

I ordered a CM031 and a JG AK BETA F Spetz totaling �127.78 delivered. Originally I used the web site to calculate the order but came to ~�140, so I emailed Keith for a discount for shipping multiple items and withing 30 minutes I got a reply stating me a order quote with a �13 discount bringing the total price to �127.78 delivered.

Paying was a breeze. I simply sent my payment to Keith's PayPal account and stated my order number in the "Payment Comments".

Two business days later (It was during the Easter week so there were a lot of public holidays) I received a e-mail from Keith giving me a warm and pleasant surprise telling me that my guns had been shipped and provided a tracking number. I could track it via the Hong Kong Post website and the tracking worked wonderfully. Once the parcels were in the UK I could further track it with the same tracking code from the Parcel Force website.

I personally drove to the depot to collect it (I couldn't wait the agonizing 4 days (Got to depot on a Saturday, meaning I would have to wait Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for it) to get me hands on it)

I had to pay a �20 tax and duty fine, but that doesn't really bother me. Guns were excellent and I was a happy bunny Smile

RSOV is an excellent retailer and don't have second thoughts buying from him. The excellent support and great prices make RSOV the one to buy from!

Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Superb communication, Fast delivery, Good choice of items, Stellar Customer service
Negative aspects of the product (cons):	Some of the website descriptions of items are poor to non-existent, no mention of cross compatability in general of parts

Being new to Airsoft, I approached buying unbranded AEG parts from HK with caution.. however my worries were quashed with fast and rapid turnaround via email of any questions I had (a lot!). Also useful advice has been freely offered (and taken)
The fact that in the event of RSOV not stocking the item you need, he will actually go and visit other airsoft retailers on your behalf is quite staggering.. bravo RSOV!

The only downside I have found is that compatibility is often not mentioned in item descriptions- but easily solved with an email.
I still purchase through Keith, and will continue to support RSOV.

The timing from checkout to shipping is very short, and hugely reassuring.

Not much to add to the others

Had an order go through just before xmas
Filled in their VCRA disclaimer citing my site membership and ability to confirm i was a skirmisher this end. This was attached to package and it sailed through customs.

Did an order at the same time with Gunner still waiting for package and a whole host of other problems. so ill post a review for them when i get the package but it wont be good.

RSOV did me proud.

Negative aspects of the product (cons):	Lack of detailed invoices unless specifically requested (may lead to problems with customs), could use some automatic discount system

I ordered from RSOV three times. First time the order was missing some items that were sent, give or take, next day after reporting the fact. Second time, big huge order, the customs gave me hell of a headache, mostly due to the lack of detailed invoice. Third time, went through like a breeze. What can I say? A good shop, although it could use some kind of automatic discount system to avoid hassle with Paypal (Full payment goes out, order gets processed, discount comes back).

Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Very odd but great selection, GREAT prices and deals, VERY good customer service, Fair shipping costs for an HK dealer
Negative aspects of the product (cons):	Don't use the cheaper shipping option, it takes forever, Few high end items

I'm a late comer to purchasing from RSOV but from the start from them I am very happy with them and plan to use them very often in the future. The are so far the most easy going HK dealer I've worked with on getting airsoft guns into the US with intact trades and will do whatever you ask them to do, be it putty or tape, and send the guns with complete trades. If your a big collector as well as a player, trades can make or break a gun for you and some types of trades (especially H&K trades) can be an annoyance to get. RSOV handles this with no problem and answers all of you're queries with quick, good answers.
