Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

This was my first gas gun. It was $40 on AA 2 years ago, and it retains, to this day, the best $40 you can spend (i think its $30 now). 3 days after my order the post man arived, and my state was something along the lines of crack baby gerbil on speed, meth, crack, shrooms, and steroids.

...yeah, I was pretty excited about it. I ripped open the box and saw the gun inside and had a heart attack. Along with the XM8, G3A3, P99, and P38, the HSc is one of the guns I basically have a heart attack over.

Even though it is now almost 20 years old in design, the Marushin HSc is built fantastically even by today's standards. The HFC clone has nothing on this, if you've ever handled it. It is composed almost entirely of a high-grade plastic, no creaks or squeaks. The faux wood grips look very nice and are comfortable to hold and use. It uses stick magazines which hold about 11 rounds+1. Along with this, it has a HUGE gas reservoir in the grip which can get about 80 shots off on TOP gas. It has an adjustable hopup which is very responsive and nice to use. However, as of this moment I don't remember how you adjust it because I had to throw mine out over a year ago . More on that later...

Enough of this, how does it shoot? Even though it is very compact, the gun is surprisingly accurate. I find that, with the hopup properly set, I can hit a man reliably at 80 feet or so, and a max of about 100 feet. The gun shoots a respectable 250-260 with a .2 and green gas, which is pretty darn good. Even though it is a non-blowback, the gun has a slight amount of kick to it. It's fun to shoot .

Now onto the bad parts. The gun has no spare magazines available, and 11 rounds is not very many and won't last you long. Stick magazines are also very small and rather annoying to use imho. Mine self-destructed also. I accidentally left it on a heating vent under a halogen lamp with a full load of gas. The halogen lamp had no glass cover to block rays, and out heater malfunctioned and the air coming out was about 125f. The heat caused the grips and slide to warp, and the gas chamber became exposed and eventually exploded. At least, that's what I think happened (I was nowhere near it at the time). The entire grip was blown open and the magazine was trashed. The slide was also really warped and the internals were shot. In one of the sadder moments of my life, I had to throw it away.

Overall, would I reccomend the gun? By all means, yes! This gun is incredibly small, small enough to keep in a boot even. However, it is also accurate enough to be a regular sidearm (although the lack of spare mags and only 11 rounds capacity leaves it a poor choice). I don't believe they are made anymore, as I can't find them anywhere, but if you can get the chance be sure to pick one up!
