Positive aspects of the product (pros):
|
6 point stock, very reliable, 6.3mm barrel, almost as good as tm
|
|
Cons:
|
no trades, bad plastic on handgrip, mini battery, barrel wobble
|
|
real rifle
the m733 is a carbine version of the M16 and is slightly shorter than its counterpart the M4. the M733 was the upgraded version of the vietnam Car15. the M733 is used by various special forces such as delta force (seen in blackawk down)
first impressions
this was my first aeg, i got it off airsotscotland and came in two days. first impressions were 'bloody hell it looks exactly like the marui' (without trades) the box is strong and protects the rifle.
performance
the performance is comparable to the mauri, it can be a bit inconsistent if firing on auto but otherwise is accurate up to about 40m. its powerful as well! doing 345fps (roughly) using 0.2g AIM bbs so it is more powerful than the marui.
quality of finish
the finish is pretty crap, jg still use the terrible black plastic that gives off a dull shine. there are aslo no trademarks unlike the mauri. it is also vry light compared to the real rifle.
skirmish report.
the m733 is more suited to cqb than woodland but preforms alright in both. it is accurate enough and got me 3 kills in one match.
accessories
the m733 comes with a battery, a charger, cleaning rod, 250 bbs and a hicap magazine.
the charger and battery do the job but the chargers useless and the battery is average.
the bbs are TM 0.2g, the hicap has some feed problems but is full metal and comes with a wind key.
life
i have put arund 20,000 bbs through the m733 and it has only had 1 problem, the semi auto randomly switches to full auto. the gearbox is solidly built and should last as long as the TM.
conclusion
finish 4/10
preformance 8/10
battery 6/10
charger 3/10
magazine 6/10
life 7.5/10
a good budget AEG but if youare looking for authenticity or have the money get a TM, CA or a star.

I have just taken delivery of this AEG and it comes well presented in the box with a cleaning rod, 250 0.2g BBs, Hi-cap winder Mag, mini 8.4v NimH 1300mah battery and cheap charger.
It has a fairly solid feel to it and the sliding stock has 6 positions so works well for cqb (where it is slightly longer overall than the MP5 PDW that I have) or for woodland (where it is slightly shorter than my AK47). At around 340fps it is fairly accurate at 30-40 meters. I do have some occasions where the semi auto will kick into full auto for no reason. This is normally followed by a few misfires or blank fires. Flicking the selector to safety and then to full auto and firing a quick burst usualy clears it though.
So far I am fairly impressed by it overall and for value for money it is hard to beat.
