This is just a quick review of my CYMA Ak47s.
I bought this AEG back in Jan 2007. It has since had 18000 rounds through it without a hitch. The only work I do to it is give it a clean after I use it and even this is a pretty lazy clean.
Its had a few knocks but nothing major and is still all in 1 piece. The folding stock has become slightly loose over time but as I never use it and plan on removing it, this doesn't matter.
I added a scope mount and use this with either a lazer or a reflex scope. Although most of the time I just remove it and go old school style.
Its not the most accurate of rifles in standard form. This maybe improved if you were to upgrade. I would estimate that at normal engagement distances you would achieve a 2ft spread on full auto. Single shots would be about 1ft and if you took your time you could manage 6"(perhaps) but come on this is an AK.
Its chronos at 278-280fps everytime.
I would recommend this rifle to a noob although you can on occassion get a lemon so be prepared to have to get it sorted. Although I've had no problems. It would also make a good cheap backup or a loaner.
I would buy CYMA or chinese again without a second thought. Infact I'm not sure if I will buy anything but.
UPDATE
1 year on and this weapon is still performing just aswel.
I would estimate that its had roughly 30000rnds through it and it still fires at a pretty constant 280fps(give or take 5fps).
I've never had to take it apart and have only lubed it a little after a game and tbh not even bothered a lot of the time.------------------------------ Drunk, a safe place in an unsafe world!

This is my first review but more to come! (just bought a neonfire m92f gas pistol from zero one)
Looks and feel; The CYMA Ak47 has a huge metal content, it is easier to say what is not metal - stock, rear grip, front grip. But despite the huge amount of metal it has a great balance. The front grip is packed with ris rails, if you wanted to pack 4 torches on the front of your gun, now you can! The pistol grip is great to use but much too plasticy (a wood grips conversion kit would be very useful here)
Performance: Excellent! One problem though, eats up the ammo! More than 1 magazine is definetely needed be warned. It fires faster and further than any other standard aeg i've used but it is slightly less powerful.
Price: £90!!!! great aeg £90!!!! absolutely excellent, i would reccomend airsoft world not zero one for the simple reason that it costs about £200 more for the same exact thing.
Final assesment: Great starter gun, might want to go for a folding stock version though, i've noticed that the full stock version can't be put up to eye-level when you are wearing a full mask and up against a barricade.
