Positive aspects of the product (pros): Looks great, matte finish, 1:1 Scale, Solid mounting block
Cons: Box has definite flex

The VFC battery box was recommended to me by WGC shop after an enquiry on which is the best PEQ replica. So I bought one and got it shipped over for a very reasonable £33 all together. The PEQ came in a small brown box with a VFC sticker on it. It had two check boxes on the sticker, one saying 'Battery Box' which was ticked, and 'Laser Unit' (or something to that effect :P ). Does this mean that they will be making a functional laser unit? Anyway the box, as many of you may already know, is pretty much the only 1:1 scale peq replica. This is a plus for realism freaks, or for people like me who just thinks it looks right :D . It has a nice matte black finish with the blue saftey switch cover. I think sets it apart from the other PEQ replicas and gives colour to your rifle.

The detailing is great, and the fire button is made from rubber and can be pressed down, but you don't want to press it too hard, or it will fall through.

It comes with a set of stickers and a sticker guide which really gives the PEQ a good, hazardrous look.

The box opens up from the back, and can fit a nun-chuck style battery in there. Custom peq batteries may fit, but as the VFC is a different size as other replicas they may not.

The box feels pretty solid while there's a battey in it. The foam thats included eliminates any rattle from the battery and holds the back cover in place, which feels a bit limp without it.

Its held onto your rail by a 20mm mounting block. I'm pretty certain that the mounting block is metal, as it feels cold, but doesn't sound metallic when you tap it. It certainly looks solid, and has a clever screw system.

It is fairly stable when mounted on the top of an RIS system, but not as stable on the side.

Overall, the box looks fantastic and is pretty solid, just don't abuse it too much.
