First off, i am sorry if i make any mistakes with the acronyms.
Well what can i say. I purchased these batteries off their ebay store after hearing some positive feedback from a person on one of the forums that i belong to. So I went ahead and chose to purchase the item directly. Paid $47.49 with shipping and insurance. The first thing that i would like to note about this company is that the shipping was quite slow for USPS priority mail. I had paid on the 8th of January, they sent the item on January 10th, and i received the item on the 19th of January. Another thing that i noticed was that the package was kinda beaten up as if they just threw the batteries inside the flat rate package. When it did arrive, i did a quick exam of the battery which to me looked quite good. It comes with 14 gauge AWG wiring which is quite good along with the large type Tamiya connectors. I knew right away that i had to convert these batteries to deans.
Off to soldering...
After converting both batteries to deans, i commenced to charge one of my batteries. Normally yes i know that we are supposed to trickle charge the pack overnight or some stuff like that. However, the pack does not state a recommended time to charge the battery nor does the website give a recommended time for a slow charge. Anyways i charged it up and waited for about 30 minutes. When my charger indicated that it was "peaked", i checked the Mah rating and it stated that it was only at 2823 Mah. I was kinda shocked that it peaked at such a low number...more to the fact about close to 1000 Mah was missing. To me it doesnt really matter because i paid a small sum for a large type battery which a similar (if not better) battery would cost about $45-$55 online (for me it would be $75 locally), but to other people this is alot of Mah that is missing from a otherwise high milliamp battery.
Well all in all i was kinda disappointed. I had spent $47 for two batteries that are actually underrated, and took awhile for it to arrive at my door step. But this didnt get me down since well i now have two spare batteries in addition to my intellect packs that i normally use.
In conclusion, would i recommend this product to anyone? Most likely not. It does not suit amateur nor experienced players who need high Mah and good voltage to power upgraded guns. However this may sound kinda bad or cruel but it suits beginners in a way. People who are looking to start airsoft may want to get this kinda deal. It is not as expensive as the top tier batteries yet it does provide a good base to see weather or not the person wants to continue into this sport. So he/she can either get a better pack OR not continue this sport and quit, thereby they havent wasted a large amount of money on batteries.
Sorry if i made alot of grammatical errors but it is quite late for me to be up.
