Real Steel History
This gun is mostly based on the Remington M700. I know that not many people read the real steel history, I usually skip it, so I am going to completely make it up and tell an interesting story for those who actually do read this part. So from this point on I am simply going to keep talking about how nobody actually reads this section of a review. I know I sometimes skim it, but more often than not I just scroll down, which is against my theory now that you are reading this. If you do happen to read this part I would like you to make the post or send me a PM saying Hawt Diggity Dawg, this can be a code so I can get an accurate reading of who actually reads the real steel history. Also, please don’t tell people about this part, it can be our little secret. Blah Blah, Blah, guns bullets, M700, blah boobleydlahh Remington.
Introduction
Well after waiting for several weeks for airsoftgi to get the Bar-10 scope package in stock I became impatient. When I would call gi, they would say they are getting more in next week, when I would email Gi they would say Mid February! Well after about two weeks I couldn’t take it any more. I ordered the gun and a bag of bbs from airsoftgi, I ordered a pair of scope rings from matchstickglobal.com, a Bushnell 3-9x32 scope from cabelas, and a vsr-10 scope mount from Precisionairsoft.com. Although it took gi an extra day and a half to ship the gun out (resulting in me having to wait over a weekend to get the gun) I got it on a Monday, nine days after placing the order.
First Impressions.

In the box with the Bar-10 there is quite a few accessories, small bag of bbs, unjamming/cleaning rod, gun in two halves, speedloader, small bag containing parts and allen wrenches, then my bag of bbs.
Speedloader

Little bag of parts

Upon opening up the box and pulling out my gun in two halves I noticed several things. Number one, this gun is pretty light. Number two is DAMN! That stock is nice, it feels like rubber!
Some Assembly Required.
Open up the little bag of parts and pull out the small rectangle shaped piece with an angle cut on one edge and a hole in the middle, and also the small black piece with rounded ends, put these together and then place the spring on the end of the rectangle, then it just pops in, I recommend gluing the spring in, as it likes popping out. Now that you have that part done, grab the upper half/barrel receiver/ assembly and place the end closest to the bolt in the stock first. When you get that lined up, push down on the front end of the barrel, the front end should just snap in, after that, put the small allen screw in the hole in front of the magwell, and the larger screw in the hole behind the magwell. After this you may elect to stick the front site on with the supplied double stick tape.
External Parts Overview
Stock- The stock is very nicely finished, it is pretty light, but the nice rubber texture more than makes up for it. One part I don’t like about the stock is that it has several scratches and deformalities on its rubbery finish.
Deformalities on stock

Outer barrel- The outer barrel is tapered, and is made of pretty nice metal, it is topped off with an orange tip, and is simply screwed into the receiver. Special note here, if you get the screw too tight on a scope mount, it may interfere with the outer barrels threads. Another note, to take off the endcap with the tool, you have to turn it to the right to loosen.

Bolt- The bolt is made of metal and has some grooves in it for texture; it is a pretty smooth bolt pull, although sometimes it squeaks when pulling it up.

Butt- The butt is made out of the same plasticy/rubber that the stock is, it is nice and textured and wont slip too easily.

Trigger guard/Trigger- The trigger is made out of metal, the trigger guard is made out of plastic. Kind of hard to elaborate too much on the make of that. Cant find my good picture of this, so I hope you are satisfied with this

Hopup
The hopup on this gun is a copy of the vsr hopup. It can be adjusted via a small lever sticking above the stock by the barrel.

Magazine/Magwell
The magazine is about four inches long, and is pretty plasticy, it has a seam line down the middle of it, but overall its not bad. It holds 29 rounds, it loads pretty fast with the included speedloader. The magwell is pretty nice, it holds the magazine well, only thing is, to get the mag to lock in I have to give it a nice smack, but the magazine slides out very nice

And yes the moment you have been waiting for, firing!!!
Loading
Fill the supplied speedloader with bbs, and place it on top of the hole in the magazine, pump the plunger down until it gets hard to do, that means the magazine is probably full.
Place the magazine in the magwell and pop it into place with a hit.
Lift the bolt handle up, and pull back until you hear a click.
Push bolt forward and then down again, make sure to put it all of the way down to set the trigger properly.
Take aim at your target and squeeze the trigger.
Upon firing you will notice that the gun is extremely quiet, that is because of the airbrake the gun comes with. The gun is also very accurate. It will be a month or so until I can get accuracy tests, as we got about eight inches of snow the day I got my gun, so I cant see my bbs.
Simple mods
Gluing in the spring on the mag release
Greasing the outside of the cylinder
Swabbing the inner barrel until clean.
Conclusion
This is a very nice gun. It is great for beginners and experts alike. It is easily modified to higher fps, and is great stock.

I am not trying to better TCF's review(and mine is far from it) I am just trying to get a large diversity of information on this gun out there.
