Description: Based on the real AKS 74u, this is a real wood and metal version. it cost me £135, it is very good quality.

The main noticeable problems are:
the stock is slightly wobbly when extended
the fore hand grip has a small cut into it so it could be held in place by a spring steel piece, this is poorly manufactured and degrades the otherwise good wood finish,
the magasine is bright orange! and plastic... the real ak74 does have a bakelite mag (like plastic, made from a tree in the rainforest) which looks quite bright browny/ dark orange, yet the mag for this gun makes you feel like a "two toner", and doesent go well with the nice dark wood handgrip!
another problem is that a standard ak47 mag fits quite loosely into the mag well (it has actually fallen out of my gun during a game! however this might have been because i didnt fit the mag into the gun properly, i cant be certain, but there is a very noticably wobble), yet they look nicer in the gun.
the gun weights in at almost 3kg whereas the real steel gun weights 2.5kg so this thing is a real arm ache to carry (although i like a gun with some weight in it).

here they are:
the gun has real wood in the handgrip
the gearbox is very easy to access (screwdriver required)
the gun folds up really small
the gun is the actual size of the real one
the flash hider can be removed with the aid of an allen key
the foregrip can be removed, but is locked in place by a mechanism when the top slide is on, the latter is also clipped into place strongly, with no wobble
the hopup is easy to get to (its accessed by pulling the cocking handly back and operating a slider).
the foresight can be adjusted with a special key provided (only one key.... dont lose it)
the saftey/ automation selection switch has notches so the selction is easily noticed with a loud "click" (unlike plastic models which have a habit of there selector dropping down a gear while shooting) the selector stays in place, and like the real ak series, the selector has a little "bobble" which fits into the notches which has (at first) the alarming result of scratching an arc into the metal of your gun. after analysing real ak series weopons, i can tell you that the same happens to them, so dont be worried, this is making your gun look realistic (if i werent for that fluresant mag)
the metal is hard wereing, i have yet to notice a scratch... (this may be a problem to you hardcore airsofers who like "battle damage", but im sure no gun is rental proof...)
one thing i did to thins gun is give the externals a good wipe down with gun oil, this gives it an evocative smell and a shiney finish.
there is a huge amount of battery space under the top slide, and the battery space extends from the foresight all the way back to the rear of the reciever (14 inches! of space) the battery has to be a "stick" battery...
when the supplied mag is used, it fits in very snugly, a normal ak47 mag wobbles, but an ICS mag fits perfectly.
the stock locks when extended, and locks firmly when retracted, the actual stock is tough, the connection is a bit wobbly as mentioned earlier

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Build Quality, price, grin factor!
Cons: Slight stock wobble! High muzzle velocity (over forum limit)!

I purchased one of these two weeks ago and I love it!
If I was an executive working for TM I''d be very worried!

The build quality is excellent and the stock wobble was fixed with two layers of duct tape over the locking catch.

Leave the spring compressed for a couple of days and the fps drops down to forum limits.

The rate of fire is low but could be ramped up using a more powerful battery, 9.6v over a 8.4v. There is more than enough room in the gun for a larger battery and from what a friend tells me the internals will easily take the increased power.

I have had no problems with my ICS AK74 magazines fit fine (no wobble) and have no feed problems.

Skirmished it once and collected numerous 'kills' with it. Still smiling about some of them.

I'm thinking of getting a second one to replace the internals in my ICS AK74.

If you get the chance buy one!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Price, Full Metal, Real Wood, Russian Fire Selector Markings, Quite Small, Nice Hefty Weight, Space For Large Batteries(14in), Good Rate Of Fire(9.6v 310 fps), Brilliant Range Thanks To Great Hop-UP.
Cons: Pistol Grip Not The Right Colour(Should Be Plum), Accuracy Isn't Great(Fair Few Flyers), Mine Broke After 2000 Rounds, Pain In My Arms(Hehe).

Bought one about 4 weeks ago broke twice in two separate days, currently in a
non-working state.

The build quality of this gun is amazing no wobbles anywhere really a solid gun.

The gun is evenly weighted and the iron sights, while basic, are very easy to use.

The rate of fire on this with a 9.6v is around 15-17 rps and fires at 310 fps.

The range is great thanks to the baxx shooting system, which is easily adjusted by pulling the charging handle back. The charging handle is held in place by a decent spring and slides back into place nicely.

The battery is easily removed by opening the top of the gun which is spring loaded, so open slowly or else the spring will fly out an the metal will be bent.

The mag that comes with this gun is a horrible cheap orange mag that wobbles horribly in the gun.
Most AK-47 mags fit nicely into the gun as do other AK-74 mags.

The pinion gear on my gun was chipped after less than 2000 rounds. But I really don't care as this is the nicest looking gun I own as said above the "Grin Factor".

This gun still gets "ooh's" and "ahh's" on site which is nice.

I'll end with a nice quote from a site owner "Like They Say AK's are for children and terrorists"
