Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cheap, Come in multitude of colours, compatible with Marui and UTG shell fed shotguns, durable
Cons: Labels on some shells are wrong way round, seam lines

"ooohhhhh! What pretty Colours!"

As an owner of Marui's shotguns (past and present), i've always liked the shotshell magazine that Marui brought out. Simple, effective and gave you enough shots per shell to keep that smile on your face. With the recent explosion in the amount of Clone weapons lately, it was only a matter of time before Marui's shotguns and shotshells popped up on a table in a Chinese Manufacturers office to be considered for copying.

With the release of The Benelli style shotguns being brought out by manufacturers such as Double Eagle/UTG, it was odds on that copies of the Marui shotshells would soon be made available...

and made available they were! At present time of writing this Review, there are three coloured versions of the UTG/Double Eagle shotshells available to the paying customer. Standard Red, Sexy Black and err... green...

They all work flawlessly in the Marui shotguns, Marui Grenade Launchers and the UTG/DE shotguns.

"The Lowdown: Whaddo i get for me money?"

Well, the standard shotshell holds 30 rounds (that's 10 rounds of 3 shot) this allows you to fire off 10 rounds before the shell has to be replaced in the shotgun. The shells are reusable (wish i had a quid for everytime someone asked me "After you use the shells, do you throw 'em away?")

They come in packs of 2, 4 and 6 and are available at a quarter of the price of the Tokyo Marui ones (these were purchased from RSOV - Thanks again Keith Wink )

When you first use the shells, you may have to lube them to get the full 30 BB's in (i had no problem personally) but a few people have mentioned this problem with these shells. Apart from that, there's nothing really to put these shells down. The only "Slight" niggle i had was that on some of the shells the label is the wrong way round (doesn't affect the shells use in any way, shape or form) and the "To be expected" seam lines. Otherwise, they feed every round pretty good (only had one misfire and that was because i hadn't put the full 30 in one of the shells... D'oh!)

I tried these in my friends Marui Taclauncher and they feed fantastically. They also work great in the Double Eagle/UTG clone shotguns and had no misfeeds at all.

"Conclusions..."

As any airsoft shotgunner knows, the more shells you have, the more firepower you can lay down (As the *Ahem* 17 i've purchased may suggest) I would advise anyone getting more than 7 shells to invest in either a shell-belt, shell-sling or stock-holder as you will end up juggling all the shells otherwise and that can be a nightmare (I speak from personal experience when i entered a game with 29 Marui Shells, my old SPAS 12 folding stock shottie and realised quickly that i'd forgotten to bring my shell bandoleer)

Meh!.....

Final Word? They're great, cheap and the black ones had me salivating for ages (Concentrate!!!!)

Now if only someone would bring out White shotgun shells...

and Blue ones...

and yellow ones...

Darklite: Actually, I was using my AK - the shottie I had lent to Tink at that point.

*suitcase*, I best go and check it still works.
