Positive aspects of the product (pros): Does exactly what it is supposed to, fixes leaky magazine valves, lubricates dry seals, lubricates low-friction moving parts
Cons: None

NOTE: This product is identical to the Bisley Silicone Gun Oil Dropper reviewed here.

Okay, this is one of those simple products - it either works or it doesn't. This one works!

Silicone lubricants have long been the standard of Airsoft lubrication as it is a safe product on the many rubber and plastic parts used in these guns. Petrochemicals attack rubber and some plastics slowly and lead to breakages and corroded valve seals - not good. Silicone based lubricants do not attack these materials, leading to a long and happy life for your Airsoft collection.

The oil itself is unpressurized and in a relatively thick liquid form with a consistancy similar to motor-vehicle engine oil.

The dropper allows easy and accurate application on slide-rails, inside magazine valves, and pretty much anywhere you need to 'drop' oil for lubrication.

The oil itself is ideal for use on...
  • GBB Slide Rails,
  • GBB firing valve seals,
  • GBB Blowback Piston Heads,
  • GBB Hammer Mechanism,
  • Other moving parts.

It protects, lubricates, prevents drying, prevents wear, and stays put where the thin "spray" oils would run off. Plus it is cheap and there's plenty of it (£2.99 for a 30ml bottle, UK retail price).

Provided this oil is used in the right places, it gets a solid 10 out of 10.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): useful and safe to use on Airsoft guns
Cons: none

As R22 above says "it works".

I use this silicone to clean many parts of my gun including the barrel and the use wipes to remove the excess. Dirt particles stick to the wipes because of the oil.

The dropper bottle is great as it allows small quantities to be added. Which is what you need.

Buy a bottle, there is enough to last ages.
