Personally I have a rule against giving 10s, purely because nothing in this world is perfect and they're rather pointless as a rating I feel. That said, if I ever did give 10s, I've give the guys and girls at UK Tactical a great big one-zero.
Some info taken from their own website:
"UK Tactical was formed in order to meet a demand by military based professionals for the most up to date tactical equipment of the highest standards. All of our products have proven themselves operationally in the real world and have been chosen by us because they are amongst the best choices to get the job done when it counts the most.
Our product selection criteria are based on functionality, reliability and quality, with emphases on value for money. We offer a wide diversity of products and are constantly striving to improve and expand our product lines in order to offer our customers the best choices. If we do not stock a particular item we will be more than happy to source the product on your behalf.
Markets:
UK Tactical sells specialist military equipment internationally at a government level and to individual military personnel from around the world. We also retail to private individuals operating in the security industry for example PSD Operators in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Recently we have decided to accept orders from Milsim professionals within the UKs Airsoft community who require quality equipment.
We are also the UK distributors for a number of manufacturers including the full range of Warrior Assault Systems, Oakley, Converse, Hatch, Pentagon Weapon Lights Systems, and Frontline holsters and welcome wholesale enquires from the retail trade."
Personally I find their website layout excellent, very easy indeed to find your way around with plenty of different categories of kit and equipment. that I'm confident in saying will pretty much all be quite interesting to airsofters.
Their prices are extremely competitive and I've seen many an item on their site before at a far far lower cost than other similar online kit retailers. I bought a pair of Oakley assault boots from them a while back for example, and got them for half the price they would be if you go to an official Oakley shop.
Most recently I've been looking at getting myself a new set of load-bearing equipment, the range of Warrior stuff they stock caught my eye as it's aimed at the 'real steel' market, the military and PMCs etc. Combine that with the fact it looks very well designed, comes in the colours you need (i.e. tan and OD) and is far more reasonably priced than the likes of Eagle or Blackhawk, I was sold.
Being quite a thin person I decided to go for the compact version of the Warrior "RICAS" (a CIRAS look-a-like quick release MOLLE vest) in OD for playing in UK woodland. Unfortunately, unlike the normal sized RICAS, they didn't do different deals on pouch set-ups with the compact vest to save money on decking it out. However, after a couple of e-mails they quite happily agreed to make up a package deal for me including the vest itself and a whole load of pouches for it that I specifically listed out for them.
Had I bought the same stuff normally by adding it to the basket on the website I worked it out as coming to just over £200, but when they worked out the package deal it came to less than £170 with shipping. Top stuff.
Admittedly they seem to sell out of stuff very very quickly, which means things are often out of stock, that said when dealing with them via phone e-mail they were even around all through the weekend, and that's a level of service some other UK retailers could do with aspiring to.
Overall, highly impressed by UK Tactical, and if they stock what you want I'd most definitely recommend using them any time.------------------------------ -SAC Kinnerley, RAF Armourer
