As many of you know, my favourite ever Airsoft gun is the Maruzen MP5k GBB (reviewed HERE), despite the fact that it spends more time broken, it needs extensive modification before it will work correctly, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone really.
Well, one of the main parts that just fails the moment you look at it is the Loading Nozzle/Blowback Chamber part. Basically what happens is that withing the first few hundred shots on Green Gas, the Blowback Return Spring tears straight through the Loading Nozzle's U-Shaped Lug (seen on the top of the first photo above). This means that the blowback chamber does not return to its seated position, leading to jams, venting gas, and stoppages that can only be fixed by taking every bolt component apart and re-seating the spring. Of course the spring then jumps the lug on a regular basis and you can have trouble emptying a single magazine before the gun stops up again.
Well, Guarder in their infinite wisdom decided to show Maruzen how it should have been done and came up with this essential accessory for any Maruzen MP5k GBB owner.
This nozzle is very simple to fit, although it can be a bit of a squeeze getting it inside the metal bolt to start with. Once in though, it is plain sailing.
On the first try, there was a bit of jamming and gas-venting, but once a little silicone oil had been applied, it worked brilliantly. Once again, the MP5k was working nicely.
Now at least I know that the loading nozzle is not the weak link. All I have to do now is wait for the metal bolt to crack (again - 5 have broken on me so far with the standard parts fitted). Oh well, when Guarder release one of these too, the gun WILL be the gun I always wanted it to be.
10 out of 10 for being everything I wanted it to be. Now please can someone make a stronger metal bolt that surrounds this part!
